She looks up, suddenly more attentive. "What do you mean?"

"Why her? Why would I fall in love with her? I know she's not bad but we're the leaders of two different clans. I should of know it wouldn't work," huffed Manestar.

Mapleshadow looks away and continues grooming. Pausing in her licking, she says, "Well, it's not like I don't agree." Looking up at him, she continues, "I hate to bring this up, but what if the clans go to war? You would HAVE to fight Miststar. What then?" Her bright green eyes watch him.

Miststar looked once back at manestar before turning around. She sat outside of her den, her head down. She stared at the ground, her blue eyes glazed over with sadness. She threw back her head and yowled, only to be chocked off by the tears that shut her up. She laid on the ground, crying, her whole body shaking and her paws over her muzzle.

Silverpaw stopped and pricked his ears "Was that Miststar?'' His eyes flashed and he cocked his head to the side.

Forestkit spat and growled, she got up and shook her pelt, she looked around, there ws nothing to dow here...

Manestar looked at Mapleshadow. "I have no idea. I just wish I could come up with a way to fix it all." He began to think about his kits and how he and the clan would have to fight them too, if there was a war.

Mapleshadow nods, her green eyes staring at her paws. She doesn't know what to say that wouldn't sound selfish or rude, so she didn't say anything.

Manestar sighed again and then heaved himself to his paws. He walked slowly to his den and stopped at the entrance.

Forestkit felt the sudden drop on the clan,she watched Mapleshadow and Manestar closly.
