ROBIN
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Robin's paws ached as she trotted along the alleyway. In the past few weeks, she's been feeling less and less like herself. She
has been eating less, more tired, and yet the small collie hasn't changed much at all. Except for gaining a few pounds, robin
has been her normal, happy self. Life as a stray isn't all bad. You have the freedom to be who you want and to do whatever
it is that makes you happy, even if it means living off the leftovers of others. Jack, her brother, has always been by the dog's
side. Whichever way one of them went, the other could always been heard padding around nearby.
Now, as the two wander in search of a meal, Robin can't help but wonder why she had ever trusted the curly-haired stray she
had previously called her mate. As soon as she'd told him about their family, he'd fled, leaving her to care for her pups with
only Jack as her backup. Of course they aren't here yet, it's only been four weeks since she figured it out, maybe five, but it
would only be a few more weeks before Robin's entire world would have to become safer. No more sneaking into the private
dog park, or poking fun at the dog catcher. The collie would have to be responsible. "What a gross thought," she spoke aloud,
not realizing she had until it was already done. "What do you mean?" A voice called out from behind her. Jack, her older
brother by seventeen minutes was the only dog who'd ever cared enough to stay by her side. "Never mind, it doesn't matter."

JACK
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Jack smirked as he watched Robin's ears fold back onto her skull. She was always saying her thoughts out loud, and although
she denied it, Jack always had the feeling that a part of her meant to. "What, you don't want to be eating trash anymore?" He
called to her, knowing that probably wasn't what was bothering his sister. He knew that Toby wouldn't stick with her for long,
he just wasn't that type of dog, but it still hurt the collie to know that his sister felt abandoned again. It was one of his main
goals in life to make her feel like she wasn't alone, especially after all that they'd been through. When the two were younger,
their family had been taken by the animal control officer. Zari was the only one who might have escaped, and the two hadn't
seen any sign of her since that night. "I know you're upset, but you'll always have me. I promise," Jack added softly, "besides,
I am way too cool for you to not want to be around me." He snickered, and i'm pretty darn funny.
