Hell Dogs
Kennel 1


The receptionist walks you through the first row of kennels. 'We just got this one tested... He's not anything special but he's cute, so I'm hoping someone will... Take him with them...'

He gestured to the first kennel, it's dark aside from a glow in the far end of the kennel, you can see the outline of a figure sitting before the glow. The gray man whistles and taps the bar with his finger, must have a ring under there, it sure rang loud. You notice the small number label, a leather tag with "1".

You hear a loud snorting, snuffling, huffing noise and the click-clack of toenails as the light turns, suddenly moving towards you. A blue and green glow closes in on the bars, the first thing to show being a dangling thing that glowed brightly in the dark, but gently now that it had entered into the light, it was followed by a messy looking muzzle all needlepoint teeth and a great huge underbite. As it's cheeks pushed against the bars you could see it's gentle green eyes.

'He's some sort of a fish.... Bulldog??? I haven't gotten the report on him yet but he seems friendly. If you want him, take a form." He waves his hand and walks back to his desk, pulling his phone out just as the door swings shut.



Traits- Bulldog base, angler fish bits (mouth, teeth, eyes, lure, fin ears, fin on head, bioluminescence, webbed feet)

Extra: Man oh man, does this boy love to swim! He loves to play fetch, but he's not very good at it because he thinks his light will lure the ball in, so he just sits with the little light above his head, mouth open, pressed to the ground in hopes the ball will crawl right into his mouth. It does not. He will huff and bring it back and hope this time it'll fall for his trick. It still doesn't. BUT! He also adores cuddles! He's even got a built in night light!

Extra:I look down at the cutey and say " Hi, Im Sarah. " I look as he presses his cheek up against the bar. I wondered how much he would love my home by the beach. California would be a perfect home for him~

Extra: Swimming comes naturally, and he often scares away most of the fish but once one isn't to scared to come near he often eats them, even if he only meant to say hello to his new friend. His chew toys are torn to shreds within seconds of him obtaining them, and they often get stuck on his teeth. He could often simply walk into a park and immediately everyone shies away, making him feel lonely. He only ended up at the kennel because the previous owner was jailed for harboring exotic fish without a license, and no one would take the dog because they were too scared to care for it. The poor pup only wants to be loved, it's all it asks for in its life.

The gray man sighs and rings his bell, holding one hand up to cup his mouth. 'We're expecting an influx of.... Dogs... We need to get this guy out in two hours! Last minute forms are still being accepted!' He cleared his throat and sat back into his seat, the glow of his phone failing to light his face despite the screen's brightness.

HOME FOUND

The receptionist is startled by a poof of red smoke, followed suit by a rolled paper. Only one term would be legible to onlookers, recklessgod, burned into the paper as if by heated metal. 'Alright, em… Recklessgod, the boss thinks you'll keep a good eye on- take care of...' He scrunched his nose and leaned in 'Fluffy? Yeah, ok...'
With a snap of his fingers the first kennel opened and out came the stout creature snorting and huffing and scrambling at the floor. He reached his new owner and as he opened his mouth, a stuttering yodel (similar to that of a basenji) emanated from his mouth and gills. The fin-like ears on top of his head flared excitedly.



(I love how you described him playing with his ball >w< it seems really accurate to how an animal like this would act lol
