Lily looked up at him. "Well, other than trying to get your father to understand, I have one but I am really not sure it is a good idea. It could cause us a lot more problems than it is worth and I don't want anything worse to happen..." she said with a sigh. She looked at him. "We will have to try to do something though."

"What is it?" he asked her softly. He wanted to know, just in case.

Lily looked at him. "Get married. It will be much harder for them to separate us if we are married but it is risky and we just met not that long ago." Lily said looking at him. She was really not thinking it was the best idea but it was all she had at the moment. "I will keep thinking." She said putting her head on his chest.

Callias smiled at that. "We can do that if we cannot convince my parents, if you are alright with it. My father...he has given me a ring when he had pulled me into his office to talk after the dinner. I had been planning on proposing to you eventually," he admitted, blushing a bit. He stroked her hair.

Lily stayed close to him and sighed a little. This was all stressful. "Should I go with you when you speak to your parents?" She asked him. "We should try to talk to them soon but I am not sure about me getting in the palace." She said honestly. She still was leaning on him. They needed to figure it out soon though. "I tried to do everything they wanted and I was hoping that it would all be okay when they found out because they would see how hard I was working." She said.

"I don't know," he whispered. "I don't want to face them alone, and I want them to give you the chance to talk to them, but I don't know if they'll allow you too." He rubbed her back, and kissed her cheek.

Lily looked up at him. "We can try it and see what happens." She said looking up at him. She was not sure but it was worth a shot. She just wanted to be with him. "Let's try to go talk to them." She said and stood up. She sighed and took his hand.

Callias gave her a kiss before standing up. He took her hand, and walked out of her room. "Do you want to speak to your father first?" he asked her.

Lily nodded. "He will be a lot easier to talk to." She said and went over to her father. She told him the plan and that she wanted to marry him if they could not get his parents to agree. He thought about it for a moment. "Okay. Under two conditions. First, your mom and I want to be there no matter what you decide to do. We support you. Second..." He started to say and looked at Callias. "You better take care of Lily. She is special and means a lot to this family. You better plan on making sure she stays happy and healthy." He said to him.
