midnightsun wrote:"Really?That's...weird." Edward gave her a curious look. Shapeshifters couldn't hold their forms for more than one or two hours, and that was usually the adults. "Isn't he just the barrel of sunshine tonight?Yo, whatever your name is, stop moping and do something then maybe you'll start to have fun."
Bailey nodded.
"We come from a long line of shapeshifters. Although my mother had other powers, and thats how I got my powers. Because, unlike this bundle of fun, I'm not a shapeshifter. I can turn invisible and heal people." She explained, rocking her head along to the deafening music.
"But we don't do too much traveling and stuff. So we aren't really in the air or anything for more than an hour or so. I get restless." She smiled, stifling a giggle as Edward addressed Cooper, who was glaring at the two.
"Yo, Mr. Twilight, my name's Cooper." He snapped, turning on his heels and shuffling out of the bar. Bailey snorted, obviously a bit annoyed at her brother.
"I can't believe we're related sometimes." She grumbled, fixing her gaze on her glass while trying to hide the worry that Edward wouldn't want to talk with her anymore because of her obnoxious, rude twin.
Once outside, Cooper let out a deep sigh, closing his eyes for a moment. He seemed unaware of anyone else standing around him, and just ran his fingers through his hair and breathed the cool, crisp outside air. Then, opening his eyes, he meandered down the street a bit and sank down on a bench to wait for Bailey.
{{ *cough*someone could come over and chat with him*cough* ;] }}
Cameron leaned back in his chair, running his fingers through his hair to get it away from his face. He still wasn't totally convinced she was just a little shaken, and it unnerved him a little. Thugh, she did seem to be a little more relaxed, so he relaxed too. He studied her orange curls, pale face, and blue eyes, then turned to watch the dancers again when she mentioned her friend was either dancing or talking. He wasn't looking for him, though, just watching. "Hm." He grunted, falling silent again. He wasn't much of a talkative person. Actually, it was more that he didn't like starting conversations, but once someone else started one he might join in.
