‣ apollo nodded and he moved to the center of the group, using the larger dogs as a shield. he walked slowly and his ears lay back. he glanced behind them every now and then, in case of an attack from behind.

‣ roman walked with a strong stride, keeping his head low and his ears raised to hear better. "i'll go ahead, stay quiet." he said sternly in a hushed voice. "don't attract attention to us." he moved towards a building and he hid behind the corner. after pausing, he turned his head around the corner before pulling back and turning to his patrol group. "i saw a dog, he disappeared behind a corner." he whispered.

‣ sheeva took a step back to make room for the shepherd. "there's some blankets upstairs and some more clothes. if you want something light, there's a can of beans inside of this cabinet." the jarl explained as her eyes moved around the room. the jarl placed the can down as she examined it. "there's food in it, i can smell it. but..." she bit down on it, struggling to open it. "urg, it's tough! i'm gonna have to ask the bigger dogs to open it."

"Oh okay." Azurea said while examining the can. "Actually... " She picked up the can and placed it the right way up on the ground. " I think I saw this before... the humans open it with a 'can opener' ". She got her paw and pushed a claw at the top of the can, like how a can opener does. After some tries, she managed to pierce a hole at the top of the can. Then she ran her claw around the rim of the can to make the hole bigger.[color=#0040FF]"There!" She said. "Just tip the can over and food will probably fall out." She instructed.[/color]

Nyko came up behind the female’s after leaving the coats near the crate at the territory. “Big dog, did you say? Let me see.” Nyko examined it closely. “Ah, a can. I always hated these things. Humans use tools to open them. I can try using my weight to burst it open?” He offered. Nyko placed a large paw on the metal. He was a heavy dog. But would it be enough to break the metal? It seemed he didn’t need to, however. “Nice going, Azurea.” he praised.

Seeking the protection of the larger dogs, she walked beside Apollo who was at the centre of the group. “Everything will be fine...” but as Roman mentioned his sighting, she gasped. “Did it look infected? Or could you not tell?”

Mika growled lowly, but her voice to Rio came out softly. “You don’t need to worry. It’s probably just another infected. We’re able to deal with it.” Her eyes were strained on Roman. “Be careful.” She called out in a whisper as he led the group ahead. As Bradley trailed behind, she stayed in the middle next to Apollo and Rio. “There is definitely someone there. I can smell them.”

She inspected the beans inside the bean can "Neat idea!" she said to Azurea. "I'll go check for more." She opened up the cabinet drawer and sure enough four more were there. "Little help?" she asked Azurea. She carried them off the shelf to Azurea. "I'll open these two and you can open those, here." She pushed two cans over to her sheltie friend. She tried piercing a hole just as Azurea had done but couldn't quite go through, she pushed her claw harder, harder, HARDER. She made a hole using her claw and she sliced it open, revealing glistening beans inside, she sniffed them sure enough there was no smell or sign that the beans were infected.

”I’ll get to those blankets now. Be sure to save me some beans though.” She smiled and caught Nora on her way upstairs. “We’re just transporting supplies back to the territory. Wanna help me grab a few blankets.” Quinn began to climb the stairs. She was sure the entire downstairs was now cleared. That just left the blankets upstairs.

○Bradley looked at Roman then behind himself "want me to go check it out?" He asked quietly, walking up beside Roman, his footsteps silent and he padded up beside the Doberman "if it is an infected, I can easily take care of it." He whispered and looked up the road around the corner. His eyes searching the road for anymore movement or another dog "I don't want to let any of y'all check it out because I'm afraid that y'all won't be able to take it down on your own.." He said quietly, looking back at everyone.

‣ apollo looked up at rio and he touched his nose to her leg. "be brave, rio." he reassured. "we've got em outnumbered, don't worry." apollo tried to speak comfort, but he needed the pep-talk as well. apollo didn't know what he'd do if they had to fight the dog. he couldn't fight anything with his size, he'd just have to run and hide. he felt so useless compared to them.

"either they aren't infected or they're early stage... 'cuz i can hear them talking." roman whispered. he trotted forward. he stood tall when he was a good distance away. "show yourselves!" he shouted down the street. he held his head high, baring his fangs to look intimidating.

‣ sheeva's ears perked. "impressive trick," sheeva smiled as her tail swayed eagerly. "you all take care of these beans, i'll go grabs some more pillows." she said before turning and padding towards the couch. she took a pillow in her mouth and she trotted towards the exit.

Azurea blushed at the kangel's and labrador's comment. " Oh. Er.. Thanks." She said sort of awkwardly. Then she replied. " Don't worry! I'll save you some!Then she looked over at the collie. "Okay!" She said while already staring on a can. After all her cans were done, she started feeling hungry herself."I guess it's time too finally see what it tastes like." She tipped the can over to pour a little bit of beans out. They didn't look as appetizing as meat but, at least its something. Azurea ate a few beans. "They taste... Okay... But I wouldn't eat them unless it's really necessary."
