As you get closer you notice that the purple this is actually a pokemon. It's a shiny mudkip trapped in a fishing net.
"Mudkip kip!" It calls out for you to help it.

Jess is chocked when she sees the poor little pokemon trapped in the fishingnet and decides to take action. ”Ivysaur use your vines to hold it still and pull it up! Eevee, use bite on the net to let it loose!” Jess shouts and her pokemon does as she says in a heartbeat. Sableye is superworried about the poor Mudkip and jumps up and down as it feels helpless. Kirlia tries to comfort Sableye with no success. When the Mudkip finally is freed and everyone’s safe they all can breathe again. Jess taket a closer look at Mudkip to see if it’s hurt.

It quickly falls asleep in your arms. It seems that it has no injuries and it is just tired from struggling in the net.
With another look at the net you notice that the Mudkip had something with it, a mega stone!

Path A is behind you, and leads back to where you came from. You shouldn't go back to town though before you finish your mission. Nurse Joy is counting on you!
Path B is to your left, where tree's grow thinner and there's a little more light.
Path C is straight ahead, where the tree's get taller.
All path's will eventually lead to the city. Which will you take?
