I didn't see Clovermask in his nest this morning but he has always been an early bird has he not?" She stared off thoughtfully. "No other cat was awake yet other than you and I that I have seen."

Skywhisper

Skywhisper woke up to, as usual, silence. She looked over to Breezefire’s nest, but she wasn’t there.

She probably just went to get herbs. Thinking of, I should go check the supply.

Waking over to the herb corner, she saw that nearly everything was stocked full. Still looking for her apprentice, she peeked out of the camp.

Where would she have gone?

the young tom’s eyes blinked open at the sound of his name, and he shuffled to his paws. opening his jaws wide in a yawn, eaglepaw shouldered his way out of the apprentices’ den and spotted emeraldeye speaking with bramblestorm. the yellow tabby perked up, whiskers twitching excitedly as he trotted towards the two. “good morning!” he meowed cheerily, then turned to his mentor. “are we going on patrol?”

She looked at her apprentice. "Yes we are!" She said happily. "Maybe we'll run into Clovermask! Or maybe he'll be back here with prey!"

Frostedstar-female-leader Tags; Bramblestorm

Frostedstar slowly padded out of her den, letting out a yawn. She glanced around, noticing other cats were awake. She spotted Bramblestorm, sitting quietly at the edge of camp. She quickly walked over, sitting next to her. “Hello Bramblestorm. How are you this morning? Anything happening?” Frostedstar yawned, looking patiently at her deputy.

Skywhisper

Frostedstar! My mother would surly help!

She trodded over to her mother, hoping the right words would come out of her mouth. After all, she wouldn’t be able to tell.

“Frostedstar? Breezefire is missing,” she flicked her tail towards her den, “Can you send a patrol to find her?”

I hope I told her what I wanted to say, and that she understands and looks for Breezefire.

Before getting to respond to Emeraldeye and Eaglepaw, Brambelstorm turned to Frostedstar and Skywhsiper. As the leader spoke to Bramblestorm, Skywhisper was asking a question to her mother. The she-cat flicked her tail and spoke to both- even though the question from Skywhisper was not directly speaking to her. "I was just organizing a patrol now," she then glanced to Skywhisper, "We can keep an eye out for Breezefire. It's not unlike her to be out and about." The deputy was not too worried. Breezefire, her daughter, was capable of keeping herself safe, but there was no harm in keeping an eye for the cat.

The medicine cat rolled her eyes as Bramblestorm talked to her. Did the deputy forget that she was deaf? Couldn’t she give her some sort of signal of what she was saying?

“Can you tell me what you are saying in a different way, please? Like, flick your tail to the entrance if you do send a patrol, or flick it towards the ground for no?”
