Matt kissed her back and then sat down with Sofia. "What's wrong baby girl?" He asked her as he rocked her. He was so tired.

Sofia stopped crying and giggled a bit. She closed her eyes and soon fell asleep. Kate was having trouble sleeping so she quietly walked into the nursery.

Matt looked up at Kate. "Well, I got her to sleep." He said to her quietly and put Sofia in her crib and then wrapped his arms around his wife.

Kate put her head on his shoulder and yawned. "Ready to sleep again?" She asked him quietly but Sofia started to cry again. "I'll be back in bed soon, you sleep." She yawned and picked up Sofia. Kate fell asleep on the rocking chair with Sofia in her arms.

"Yes. I am exhausted." He said to her and then sighed when Sofia cried. He nodded. "As long as you are sure." He said and went to bed. He started to make breakfast when he got up the next morning.

She was still sleeping on the rocking chair. Sofia woke up and whined loudly. Kate woke up after that and started feeding her. "Babe?" She called out quietly.

Matthew walked into the room covered with flour. "What do you need my love?" He asked her. He had been trying to cook for her but he still struggled with it.

Kate giggled and looked at him. "Just wanted to say good morning babe... Need some help?" She asked with another small giggle as she finished feeding Sofia.

"Good morning." He said to her and then looked towards the kitchen. He was trying to figure it out. "Um... I think I am okay." He said and got back to work.

Kate smiled and rocked Sofia gently. She sang a quiet lullaby.
