Faust blinked her blue eyes at the window. Her small little cottage was just at the right angle to see the square and the performers. She swept her brown hair up and began braiding it, watching through the tiny round window as she did. How many times had she looked out this very window and watched the performers? How could there do that to themselves? She though, though a tiny part of her wished she had the courage to do the same. Carefully, she tying the end of her braid with thick wool thread (that she had previously taken off her favorite dress, as it was a loose thread and she knew that it would come it handy), and pulled on it to make sure it wouldn't fall off.

Satisfied, Faust opened a drawer and pulled out a soft blue dress that was actually quite warm, and pulled it over her head. She also put on her gray stocking and boots. She stepped out of her room into the living room / kitchen and opened the door outside, taking her ragged black cloak off the hook that it had been resting on. She smiled to herself and stepped out into the cold. "Tonight is the night of new beginnings." Faust whispered to herself. Faust took her long braid and clasped it in her hand and went closer to the dim light of the square.

She watched from the nook of her cottage trail as the scene rolled before her. The angry man yelling at the performer after she had performed her trick, but it wasn't enough for him. And she saw how the girl ran over and yelled at him, and how she dodged his giant fist as it swung toward her jaw. Faust felt her jaw drop a bit at how skillfully the girl had done that, and felt her eyes narrow as he spit on her shoes. Still, she supposed it was better than being hit in the jaw. But Faust good have fixed that, so it wouldn't have mattered.

The girl had a green mohawk and lots of tattoos. Faust couldn't see her face all that well, but she could tell that this girl's tells were particularly odd. Which brought her to her own tell. She felt the dots that wrapped around her left ankle warm up, and she felt her body slowly get warmer, which which nice against the crisp night breeze.

Faust took long strides down to the square so that she could get there faster, It was a bit difficult, seeing as she was four or five inches below average height; one of her tells. Beginning to jog, she reached the square and skidded to a halt. Though it was of much contrast, she tentatively started toward the green-haired girl, hoping she wasn't rude, like the few people that Faust had spoken to in her life.

Are you a hider too? He asked, releasing her hand letting his olive hands fall to his sides. Avery smiled softly, he hadn't met any new people in quite some time. He kept his eyes one the dark area of her hood, Avery's stone colored eyes were known to be his signature. The way he watched people, taking note of every detail.

She grinned wider, playing with the clip in her fingers, letting her hands dance over the beautiful ivory. "See, I need to get home. Without being noticed." Lifting her eyes to stare into his skull, "You can start time again, collect your rewards. And then you can freeze time again, letting me get home with time frozen. If you do it, I can always pay you more." Lifting her right hand out of her bag, holding another handful of coins, while the clip remained in her left hand. "Or I could do you a favor with my power" Quincy said as she walked playfully over to the owner of the clip, playing with the girl's hair before replacing the clip in her hair. "It's up to you" Raising her head again to look at him, her piercing gaze challenging him once again.

Felicity watched his silver eyes, even though he couldn't see hers. She heard his vioce inside her head once again, "Yes" she whispered as she lowered her eyes. She knew that he couldn't see them, but she was still embarrassed to admit that one word. She shifted her weight nervously.

She glanced back up at him, "Hey, can we leave? Then I wouldn't have to whisper to you" she added. She couldn't believe she'd be going off alone with a perfect stranger. Maybe she had been so desperate for someone to talk to, and not have them discriminate her for her curse. She took a sidestep further away from the back of the crowd gesturing for him to follow her. It was amazing that no one had seemed to notice them.

Personality: Alice? Oh, she is quiet little person and from afar she appears shy and sweet, but, let me tell you, that is only the cover. She is very stubborn and when she has her mind set on something that is what happens, if in her power that is or someone that let's her boss them around can do it. That reminds me, even though she is young, she tends to try to take authority over people, which makes her look bossy and badly behaved. She means well, but can't help but get into trouble. She listens to people who she trusts and tends to cuddle them.

Looks: Alice's hair is a soft light gray which is cut in a way so it is short at first to curl around her face but it falls to her waist and curls up at the ends. She has fair skin and bright orange eyes. Her body build is small, really small for her age, she is also skinny. She wears what appears to have been a potato sack.

"Ladies and gentlemen!" she cried, holding six blades aloft, three in each hand, "You will see things tonight, the likes of which you have never seen before!" The young woman whipped the cover off of a large wooden miller's wheel that had been modified and brought here for performances of her sort. "I'll need a volunteer from the crowd!" she called, scanning faces."

"How about me?" the girl in the corner asked, striding forward confidently, a small smile on her face. She wanted to do something, to act. It was better than curling up in her bed and crying. The performer was definitely perfectly ready, but even if she made a mistake, Carlie's hair could save her somehow. It always did. She looked at the older girl's face boldly, waiting for her performance to start. Her hair ruffled a bit in anticipation, but it wasn't anything that someone normal would ever notice. It just turned a little more scruffy-looking. But still, the small using of her power in such a crowded place was like a breath of fresh air in Carlissa's mind. It was wonderful; to defy rules, to act as she wanted even though people didn't allow it. Amazing.
