I was trying to figure out how many 2018 rares would equal a 2011 rare, and I was once told that 1 2011 rare is worth 2 2012 rares, one 2012 rare is worth 2 2013 rares and so on, so if I did the math all the way down to 2018 then a 2011 would be worth roughly 128 2018 rares, is that correct?

I'm aware of it's actually worth and that it doesn't have a set demand, I'm just wondering how much you guys have seen it go for.

yep, that's correct.
but nobody would trade that many, so its up to you and your trading partner to agree on an number you both are comfortable with.
