Meanwhile, Spencer had stormed back into the castle halls; pacing back and forth with balled fists. His sharp golden gaze burned holes in the polished floor beneath his feet. He couldn't remember the last time he had gotten this angry. But after thinking on it for a short while, the dark-furred cat slowly began to calm down. Why was he getting so angry anyway...? He was better than this, he wouldn't let such a little problem crawl under his skin.. would he? The soldier soon regained his composure, and turned to head back to the training ground with a deep cleansing sigh. This could be fixed. Maybe Spencer could offer himself up to go and get the two back... Hopefully Mendya wouldn't take her anger out on him first.
As he exited back outside, Spencer's eyes squinted in the light, adjusting to see a small form bowing regretfully at Jing's feet. The bobtailed felian felt nearly 85% better just at realising who it was. Apparently Aerona had found her way back quite soon. Now he felt slightly humiliated at making such a big deal out of it... however, as usual, his face was as blank as a board. Hearing his name being mentioned, Spencer's right ear twitched, and he turned to make his way over to the two. "Of course, my king," he replied to the command with a respectful nod of his head, dismissing himself to assist the younger servant in gathering up the various weapons, and a few scattered peices of un-used armor. While doing this he said not a word to Aerona, even though it felt necesary at this point, as he felt quite relieved, and a little awkward. But, they had a job to do. No time for chit-chat.

Madison also heard a small scream, and she looked in the direction of it with some slight confusion and fear, wondering what could have caused that type of reaction out of someone. She flinched away from the sound, but was also curious from where it was coming from. She looked around, seeing a few other cages outside of her own, some across from her, and others next to hers. Madison then noticed another girl in a cage near hers, and noticed that she was some sort of animal hybrid like herself, probably a bat-cross. She blinked in some surprise when the girl had spoken to her, and was about to answer her, but froze.
The Snow Leopard-cross spotted a person that looked like he could be a soldier, and saw that e was carrying a shiny pair of keys. Madison glared at him as he passed by her cage without stopping, and watched him slip into another cage with a Raven-cross. Her ears were pricked forward, trying to hear what was going on in the other cage. She stepped backwards when she heard a thud, most likely a punch from the soldier as fear coursed through her. She was about to yell something out, but caught herself. Madison looked back to the other girl, quickly nodding her head to her earlier question before she saw her disappear in the darkness of her cell. She decided to do the same, and scurried to the darkest corner of the cell thankful that she had better night vision from her cross. Her dark gray eyes were closed to tiny slits, waiting silently for the soldier to come back.
