Personally I don't think they're based off anything in particular^^ A lot of Lilian's pet designs are colourful fantasy creatures, including but not limited to her store dragon set and the space event alien wildlife litter.
I'd assume they're simply her take on Pegasi~

also, I’m loving the new store pets, though they do have similar design to older store pets by Lillian. Other than that, they are simply gorgeous.
