Almi waited for him to turn the lights on. When he didn't, she looked at him with a confused expression. She didn't say anything but was about to when he stepped out the door. Watching him leave, she awkwardly kicked her bag under the bottom bunk of a bed and looked at the sign outside the door. It was a girl's cabin.
She sighed in relief and hid her suitcase behind her bag. She sat out on the front steps of the cabin, looking for Kirsa. When she had no luck, she rested her head on an arm propped on her thigh and sighed deeply, gazing out into space.

Her cousin had greeted her with such excitement. Eris couldn't help, but to laugh at the girl's response. Now that she was sure that the two of them were rooming together, she wanted to run off and get used to their surroundings for the summer. She took a moment to herself as Falon continued to talk without taking a breath. " Roman is by the bus. He doesn't have a roomie yet., " she shared with her cousin. As she mentioned her brother her head turned to look in his direction to see him and some boy talking by the bus. Even though she left him over there for less than two seconds, he could have already found a room mate from the looks of it. " Then again him and the boy he's with over there might have just became roomies, so don't quote me on that one., " she added and turned away from her brother to look at her cousins.

The pair of siblings began to talk to one another about rooming. Falon seemed so determined to make sure that her brother got a good room mate, so he would be okay. Eris laughed at the girl, because she was such an over protective sister. " If I didn't know any better, I would think you were the over protective sibling., " she stated as the two continued to discuss finding Cylas a room mate. " The meeting is a good place to find a room mate., " Eris chimed in. Falon made a suggestion to go and drop off their belongings in their new abode. " Yeah Cy, just drop your stuff in our cabin and when you find a room mate come and get it., " she offered.

Eris shifted her weight between her feet, waiting for the pair to depart from the others and head into their cabins. Instead of them leaving, they continued to chat up where they were. Falon asked both of them what ranks they wanted, throwing Eris for a little spin. " To be honest, I am stuck between puppy sitter and healer., " she mentioned, twitting with her thumbs. " I would love to car for the pack's pups and train those who don't really know their wolf., " she began to ramble herself. She knew that deciding her rank was not something to be taken lightly. Eris knew that the rank she chose would probably be her permanent lifestyle, unless she chose to cross train. " My dad taught me very well with herbs and stuff. He didn't want us to depend on Iker as children, so he taught us himself., " she mentioned. It was obvious that her father just wanted to make sure his children were skilled in any field that he could teach them. She lifted her gaze from the ground and over to Cylas, " What about you Cy?, " she asked.

OOOOEzra chuckled and rolled his eyes at her Pup comment, technically they were all still Pups until they took to their new ranks, even Lucilla who was older than the rest of them. "Yeaaaa," he said as she agreed with him, "oh well, can't go back in time now," he chuckled as he hoisted his dark red bag over his shoulder and stepped away from the rest of the unclaimed bags. Chuckling at her advise about asking Cylas to be bunkmates he retorted, "No duh, Anya." He stuck his tongue out at her and laughed at her fawning joke and said, "Okay then, puppying? I don't think there's a werewolf version of that term.
OOOORolling his eyes at her wanting guys to want her he muttered, "Pretty sure half or more of the guys in the back are secretly in love with you." That might not be true, but he was pretty sure he'd seen several of the guys looking her way when they thought no one was looking, he just hoped it wasn't only because of her lineage. "But ya know, you could always pass on being Alpha and then it won't be a factor in finding a mate if you want that more. Just because your Dad's daughter doesn't mean you have to be the Alpha." He knew there would always be a worry that whoever she found might only want her for the rank and he'd mentally resolved to do his best to make sure that didn't happen.
OOOOHe nodded and looked towards their "adopted" loner, maybe he should go with him. There was a good chance that Alec was thinking the same way he was about Cylas and would room with him and he wanted to make sure Kearan felt apart of Pack, since he was the Alpha's son, and brother to most likely their own Alpha, he would probably be the best for that.
OOOOLooking back at his sister he chuckled at her suggestion to make a loser sign and joined in, "I think I've got some poster board in here, I bet I can make a really good one. I'll make sure to add 'kick me' at the bottom." He gave her a teasing wink and chuckled then shrugged at her question, "Not as far as I know, but maybe you can start it, or maybe she can fight Alec for Beta." He laughed softly and shrugged again. "Okay, see you then." He watched her go then turned the other way and headed towards their newest member.
OOOOWaving at the brute as he neared he called out, "Hey, Kearan! Got a bunkmate yet?"

OOOOAella laughed at Sam repeating her name, she loved the other fae's excitement over things, it was so childlike and innocent and had helped the ex-slave regain some of the childhood she had so early on. So she laughed and ran off with Sam to find at a cabin. Looking over her shoulder at Alec she teasingly replied, "If you'd come on, Slowpoke, she wouldn't have to check on you!"
OOOOAlec smirked and rolled his eyes at the girls, but he was just happy Sam had a friend like her, even if it did occasionally wear him out since she seemed to somehow gain energy around Aella. He made a shooing motion as they practically raced off to find a cabin and followed behind at a walk. The cabins weren't far so he caught up by the time they'd picked one went in and came back out he had already caught up. He headed in to one of the ones beside it to make sure their was a free bed and dropped his stuff off by the door before coming back out and nodding to the pair, "Yea, this should be fine." He headed over into their cabin and chuckled as he watched the pair. Glad that Sam was so excited about their adventure, he knew she'd been worried, but having Aella around helped ease a lot of that.
OOOO"I don't care," Aella said with a chuckle as she threw her duffle bag on the empty bed. She'd spent her entire childhood sleeping on a concrete floor, so she could literally sleep anywhere. "They look very comfortable!" she agreed though and sat on her own mattress, they probably wouldn't be to most people, but to her they'd be great.
OOOO"We're fine," Alec assured her, "I overheard Anya say thirty minutes. So, judging by how fast you go everywhere, I have no concern. But we still can go and get a look around." He chuckled, she'd been dancing all the way here on the bus and now running around and practically bouncing off the cabin walls, she was going to sleep good tonight.

OOOOCylas rolled his eyes at Falon's chiding and retorted, "You have to say that, you're my sister, and I can't bunk with you, so I will be on whoever gets stuck with me." He knew she had never minded helping him out with things, but that hadn't ever made him not feel guilty for holding her back. There had been times when she could've been off having more fun with the other Packmates but instead, she was stuck with him. He smirked at looked over at Eris at her comment about Falon being the protective one and replied, "No no, she is, but only because I'm the one that needs protecting." He rolled his eyes, thanks to being half human he was a lot weaker than every other werewolf and also thanks to that fact he tended to get bullied a lot and she often had to bail him out.
OOOO"You and me both," he muttered about Daniel and nodded, "Yea, that'll work I guess." He wasn't in a rush to find a cabin, he was kind of dragging his feet on everything here, although he was even less in a rush to go to the meeting. There wasn't really a point, he only had one choice in rank and he voiced as much, "Don't exactly have an option there." Without the ability to shift there was only one rank he could take and that was Omega, not that he had anything against Omegas, knowing their in the background work was often extremely important and he knew he could just get a job and bring in money for the Pack, he just wished he could have options. He glanced over his shoulder again as his last chance to get out of here drove off and he sighed, watching his dad's car vanish through the trees that lined the road. "You two should grab a cabin before they're all taken, it looks like some people are going in individually, don't want them to all be taken before you get there."

OOOO"Basil, I can only shift at night or when I'm in the shade. I'm not even fully comfortable doing it in the woods if it's too sunny because the dappled light still hurts my eyes. That doesn't tend to lead to closeness with one's inner wolf." The albino girl chuckled and shrugged, not bothered by the assumption. She actually had gotten closer with it as she'd met Mateo outside the house at night a couple times, they hadn't really done anything more than talk or go for a night run or walk. Her wolf liked his as much as she did, even though they were extremely different and night was the only time they could be together alone and without her condition being a nuisance. "Maybe you can ask the counselors about the wildlife out here, they've probably done this for several years and know."
OOOOAloe giggled as she stumbled over defending himself and then just agreed with her and she replied, "I don't need him to protect me until you find another girl to protect. When that comes you can put your focus on her and not worry about me because I will have him. You can't hover around me forever. We'll always be twins and friends, but that doesn't mean we'll never have mates."
OOOOShe sighed and rolled her eyes when he freaked out about her terminology and replied, "Well no, we're not dating per se, but that's just easier to say than hanging out as more than friends hopefully. We're the same age. Also fifteen, by human standards, is not that young, it's when most people start dating."
OOOOShe giggled at his 'mate' comment but decided to not torture him any future by saying it was much too late for that, truthfully she'd been thinking about that for a long time, if she hadn't been able to think about them as mates she would have never kissed him. But she wasn't in any rush, she hadn't brought it up to anyone, and she wasn't planning anything, but as a young, infatuated girl, it was definitely on her mind. However, all she said was, "Oh, chill, Basil. If this was a few hundred years ago, or even this day and age in another country, we'd already be married and have a kid or two and another on the way. You should be happy we're going this slow." She winked at him and headed towards the cabins, looking over her shoulder when he called after her and replied, "I thought you were walking me! Maybe I'll just call Mateo over to walk me instead," she giggled and waved before continuing on.

OOOOLucilla laughed as her little brother teasingly pushed her and playfully pushed him back as she replied, "Weeeell, maybe we should work on getting Basil hooked up with someone so he won't be so jealous, then you four can go out on a double date and he can get used to the idea of you two being together. Hmmmm," she looked around, wondering about a female that would be compatible with the other brute."
OOOO"Yoooou could date him," Mariana suggested teasingly and laughed at the 'excuse me' expression that their older sister gave her. "Oh come on, you two would be cute together, plus since you don't like to cook and he does he can make all the meals in the house."
OOOO"Oh whatever," Lucilla replied with a roll of her eyes and chuckled moving past the subject as she was a little uncomfortable with the idea of herself being matched up even though she had no problems trying to do so. Looking back at their brother as he made a suggestion for Mariana and laughing at his ultimate disagreement of it.
OOOOMariana made a face and shook her head quickly, "Ooooh, no way, José. I am not staying with that *moza. I don't want to be in a continuous argument or game of silence the whole week. I feel bad for whoever gets stuck with her." She looked up as Anya approached and waved at the other fae.
OOOOLucilla ignored her brother this time since he was practically ignoring her as it was but she turned her attention to Anya with a smile rolling her eyes at her brother's reaction to Anya's permission as if she hadn't literally said the exact same thing and muttered, "Que kilombo," as he ran off. Mariana giggled and nodded in agreement beside her. "I don't!" she answered Anya with a grin, "it will definitely be fun! We better go find a cabin then."
OOOOMariana chuckled, "Well then I guess it's up to me to room with Aloe for Mat's sake." She chuckled and grabbed her back, the same orange as her fur, and bounced towards the cabins. Maybe she'd wait till after the meeting through to see if anyone else wanted to room with the albino girl, or if she wanted to room with someone else.

OOOOBexley shrugged at his questions about her roommate and replied, "I do not know. She didn't like humans either, but she would probably prefer one over one of the Pack Pups that were here. "First off," she replied without hiding any of the annoyance in her tone and pulling her hand out of his, "I am not self-loathing, I am you loathing for making me come here, secondly, I had plenty to keep me busy until you did. Thirdly, and I cannot stress how much this part is the most important, if Dad knew the Pups of this Pack were here without the protection of their parents he would come kill each and every one of them, and if he knew you were hanging out with them he would beat the absolute hell out of you and send me off to some godforsaken hellhole to," she made finger quotes, "'learn how to behave like a proper lady.' So excuse me for not wanting to get them killed and us, punished." She might not like them, but she didn't want them dead.

OOOOCindra chuckled at her sister's comment and replied, "Yea, very humble." She snickered at the thoughts about Ketsiah's Glock and replied by looking her sister up and down and replying, "I could probably think of a few places," snickering with a wink she headed towards the cabins, looking down the long rows of identical wooden buildings. She couldn't yet decide if she really wanted to be here or not. She enjoyed nature but this might be a little too much of it for her and she wasn't yet sure if they could figure out a way to take down some of these mutts without getting caught and Cindra really didn't want to go to jail.
OOOOShe looked at the cabin they finally found that was well out of the way and smiled, glad it was secluded as that would give them some extra privacy. She threw her bags on the other bed and let out a dramatic groan at Ket's mention of food, "Ugh! I am famished!" She'd had a couple bites of jerky this morning while packing but no real food. "We should definitely go see if they've got lunch or at least some snacks out.
OOOO"Yes, it is a little weird, I don't miss my knives." She'd brought some of them though, but there was no way she could've brought all her weaponry. "I'm not so sure that would be a great plan, considering we're surrounded by werewolves. Maybe you can steal some baby animal out here or something though." She chuckled and rolled her eyes as she headed for the door so they could go find food.

➢Putting my sunglasses back over my eyes, I looked around at the new scenery and people. The flow of newcomers had minimized to a trickle, marking the close of options for me to analyze. Seeing as there's nothing interesting to do at the moment, I decided to head back to my cabin to unpack. Grabbing the doorway as I entered, I let myself swing toward my bunk, pulling up my bags and picking them up. Within half an hour all my things were put away and discreetly secured; my clothes were hanging and folded in my closet and the closet was protected with a mechanism I had installed inside, making it difficult or impossible to get in. The rest of my things went into the drawers inside as well, including my computer, sketchbook and other things that were valuable to me. My phone and headphones landed in their permanent home - my pockets - and set up my bed. When I was done, I stepped back, looking at the space I made and how it looked cleaner, but otherwise unchanged. Satisfied, I pulled a towel out of the general supply closet and headed to take a shower, locking the door behind me.I stepped out of the washroom soon after, hair still wet and dripping as I walked back to the common room where the bunks were, pulling on my shirt as I passed through the hallway.

Taking the sunscreen gratefully, Tara slipped it into her back pocket while she held the other medications she had dropped. Trying to put them back the best she could the way they would be according to each label on the base of each shelf, Tara nodded at the girl's comment. "You're so lucky, I would love to not burn," she snickered. Tara turned to look the girl over, she was flawless, something the girl, plain as day wished she could be, she couldn't imagine this other girl with a burn, no way.
____Tara looked at each of the meds in her hands and then back at Rosemary. "Oh yeah, that makes sense, smart actually," she said with a smile before holding up each of the medications. "Need any of these? The nurse won't be up until later," she explained. "We can just leave a note letting her know what to stock up on," she shrugged before setting down the bottles as Rose had held her hand out to shake hers. "Nice to meet you! I'm Tara!" she greeted back. "I'm new to camp.. my older brother like runs the place though hence the key-" she explained but had paused when she noticed the key was missing from the door. "Crap-" she sighed. "I must have dropped it somewhere..." she retracted her hand before getting down on her hands and knees. "Maybe I should just tell him the medicine cabin was unlocked..." she sighed, thinking out loud.

____"Say, where are you from anyways," he rose a brow as his lips curled into a smirk. Daniel was definitely the most boring story he could think of. Grew up in Westhaven, his parents nearly did too, pack kid, two siblings who were perfect and he was always the problem child. Daniel laughed lightly at her remark about snow. "January 3rd huh?" he asked for confirmation as if it were possible she could have mistaken, but he knew she must have stored that day for a reason. "I would definitely shop around for some, especially if you decide to stay," he winked.
____Daniel knew Kirsa was so far not too knowledgeable about the pack life, but in good time he figured she would be able to decide for herself if she wanted to stay or not- and if she did, she would definitely need a whole new wardrobe for winter. When the seasons turned and the humans went home for the school year to begin, the wolves would take the camp over and start their new beginning. Daniel laughed and shrugged, "Nah, it was cute... different and probably a little weird but I think we all have enough of our own weird to go around," he smiled, for the first time. Daniel was usually too smug to give a smile, he often smirked or gave a half smile, but Kirsa had managed it, probably the first time since he was quite young.
____Daniel's eyes moved to her small fidget, wondering what it was about until his smile faded as she mentioned her parents. "Oh- I see, so they're probably not into the idea of their werewolf daughter going off and running with the wolves, huh?" he asked, curious if they knew of that possibility. She would definitely need to write home. "Oh trying to push me off on your sister already huh?" he scoffed, it was too good to be true, he knew it. He thought she was cool and nice to hang out with but she must have seen in him what everyone else did- just not good enough. "Well since you're not interested in me, you may as well meet my brother- can't say he's as good looking though," he quipped with a shrug.

_____"The bus!?" Falon exclaimed. "Surprised your parents allowed it," she laughed. "If uncle Kodi is anything like our mom... it would not have flown," she scoffed, shaking her head. Not like her mother and Kodi had spent much of their childhood together, but they were still family and her mother was neurotic for special moments, she craved them and needed to document every single one down to the last detail. "Oh!" Falon gasped, Roman had made quick work of finding a roommate. "Don't worry, Cy here will find one in no time," she smiled, hugging her older brother around the waist, he practically towered over her with his father's height, and her with her mother's.
_____"I am in fact!" Falon declared, being the overprotective one. "But they, meaning Daniel and Cylas, would do the same for me if I needed it," she confirmed with a nod. "Right again, ding-ding-ding!" she cheered. "The meeting is a perfect place to meet a bunkmate, though, if you're really hard up, I'm sure you can sleep on my desk or something," she joked, elbowing him playfully. "C'mon, you guys we are going to be late," she added, linking arms with her brother, and cousin before marching off to an open cabin, her bag bouncing behind her. It didn't take long to find an open cabin, they weren't really that picky with location after all, but finding one with two open beds was not terribly hard. "Pupsitter huh?" Falon asked as they continued on.
_____"I think you would be good at that, though you're in a bit of a slow season," she laughed. Falon had a somewhat sick dream of finding the love of her life this summer, having kids in 5 to 6 years... who knew, maybe sooner. Falon had been all about the books all year long but with this being her last year of classes, even if homeschooled, it had her thinking about boys, since she had avoided the thoughts before, but not anymore. As the girls and Cylas settled into a cabin, setting bags on beds and unloading a few books on the desks. "Why-" she asked Eris, a little confused. "What's wrong with Iker? Or Nile, they're both great..." she mentioned, wondering how Kodi had felt about the healers of the adult pack. "And Cylas," she paused, pointing at him. "YET," she said firmly. "You don't have a choice much YET. Once you get your wolf down, you can do anything you want, okay?" she tried to reassure him.

_____"Don't no-duh me, I'm just trying to delogate, still learning," she tried to defend herself, a smile still clearly present on her face as she held her hands up slightly defensive. Anya and Ezra had both watched their parents in action when it came to big decisions, but unfortunately, pups were not allowed to attend any major pack meetings, the Alpha's kids just had the luxury of living with the people who often discussed things behind the scenes, any high ranking parent's pups did. That was really all Anya had to go off of thought as to what to do. Sure, her father did train her some in how to handle certain things, he taught her and Ezra how to fight, Eliana taught them to hunt since Blake was simply not as good at it since his body mass was much better for fighting. "Puppy love," she corrected.
_____If Anya had a pillow she could throw at him, she would have. "No they are not!" she laughed, embarrassed her brother thought so. "Literally no one even looks at me... and I'm the Alphaess," she added with a snort- it often meant the center of attention, but for some reason, no one ever wanted to give her the time of day. It's because of your mother, her wolf told her. No one except Ezra knew Eliana was not her mother, but she felt like just having the slight difference in DNA may have set her back a bit. Anya looked at Ezra when he continued his thoughts on the matter, a bit confused. "You don't think I want this?" she asked him. "I want this... more than anything. I just don't know if I'm cut out for it," she shrugged. "Remember what we talked about back in March... about- my mom," she asked, pushing her hair behind her ear as her eyes shifted down to the dirt road beneath her feet. "I'm honestly really afraid that's going to stand in my way," she admitted.
_____Anya's expression puzzled up at his ideas of making signs. "No, you should probably save those in case we really need them," she laughed, curious where he even kept posterboard- unless it had all been one big joke. "I'll be fine though... don't worry, Just go get yourself a bunkmate and I'll see you at the meeting,"

_____Anya smiled and watched as the family interacted with one another. She wondered how Lucilla handled it all. Lucilla had two different parents completely but managed to not only get along and delegate between her two younger siblings but also seemed to be so fine with everyone. "Yeah! Awesome! That's probably a good idea... I'm going to be late for my own meeting," she laughed lightly, adjusting her bag over her shoulder. Anya hadn't packed much. She decided to leave the makeup at home- the hair products- the girly girl clothes. Nothing that could get severely damaged for wearing it outdoors anyways. She was really trying. She, of course, had some more... provocative clothing, but it was nothing that couldn't handle their environment.
_____As the pair began walking towards a cabin, luckily one that was central to the whole came she paused at the door and looked back at Luce for just a moment. "You're sure you're up for this?" she asked, walking in and setting her bag down on the top of one of the desks. "I mean... We are in the middle of it all," she spoke, trying not to be too figuratively since they were literally in the middle of the camp. "People are going to be knocking on our door at all hours... are you sure you're cool with that?" she asked, nervous, wondering if she had signed her own social suicide. Anya had never thought being the Alphaess would be so difficult. She figured it was more like a popularity contest than anything.
_____"W-we should probably get going," she shook her head. "But if you want to change bunkmates, I understand," she nodded, accepting her fate whatever it may be.

_____Luckily, the girl was at her full height of 5'7, so her strides were much more promising than a few of the other shorter girls in the pack. Her and Lucilla had even made it to the meeting about five minutes before it started. The Alphaess to be looked out over the several benches that circled the meeting place by the lake with a confident smile as her arms crossed over her chest, a betraying body language. Nerves. This would be her first organized meeting- her first act as a leader and that was that. "So before this all starts, I'm curious, what rank are you going out for?" she asked, raising a brow. The high ranks she assumed would go fast, but so far, all she had heard from everyone was desires to raise pups and heal others. Anya would need strong individuals to help lead her pack alongside her, but she had no idea who would be up for the challenge.

_____A bit defeated as the brute couldn't manage to find anyone free to bunk with, Kearan sighed and began to look for a cabin with someone already in it, one of those unfortunate souls who just figure they get who they get. Until he heard someone call his name, and consequently even asked if he had a bunkmate. "Nope- surprisingly not-" he laughed, turning and to his surprise, around to the Alpha's son- or the old Alpha, seeing as the daughter had stepped up in the last hour to do the job. "Ezra?" Kearan almost questioned his existence. Here he was the homeless, orphan kid who had joined the pack to stay alive, didn't know anyone but the Alphaess's brother, was in front of him asking to be bunkmates. "You're asking to bunk with me?" he asked again, disbelief clear in his voice.
_____"Sure, I mean yeah- I just didn't think you would want to room with someone like me," he laughed. The brute had grown up stealing and breaking and entering to stay off the streets. The Alpha's kids or the Alpha family, in general, lived exactly the opposite life and were very well off. "Well we should probably grab a cabin... and head to your sister's meeting," he suggested. "Are you going out for Beta?" he asked, curious of his own desires for himself in the pack.

_____"Yeah, slowpoke!" Sam had chimed in. Alec was always much quicker than her, he slowed himself down for her all the time... and she loved her brother for that, but in this particular moment, Sam wanted to go fast and she didn't want to stop. This was the first time she was free from her parent's overprotective eyes and the first time and she wanted to live the way she was meant to be- or as close to normal as possible. The girls gushed over their cabin, well probably more Sam than Aella, she was just excited to have something that was hers, something her parents didn't decorate or delegate for her. As Alec walked in, she spun on her heels and crossed her arms as she leaned into her hip. "Alec! It's better than fine! This. Is. Ah-may-ZING," she cheered, nearly jumping to hug him.
_____If Alec hadn't agreed to come with- for whatever the reason, Samantha would not have been able to come and none of this would have been possible. Sam smiled back at Aella over her shoulder, happy the other girl was just as happy to be there as she was- even if the cabin was a bit woodsy- but that was the point wasn't it. Like a doll, her head turned quickly back to face her brother. "Pffft fine, what is it with you and this word 'fine,'" she laughed at her brother as he talked about their time, and how they could never be late. "But big brother... shouldn't a responsible ah-dult be early to such an occasion?!" she wondered aloud, looking back at Aella again, before narrowing her eyes at her brother. "Let's go!" she cheered, her whole face perking up with a big smile. It was possible with her level of excitement, she would probably be someone mistaken as the missing link how crazy she had been running around since they arrived.
_____Sam skipped her way out of the door, down the steps of their cabin and a few feet past. "You guys! HURRY!" she called to them. Sam knew they would catch up, so she started in the direction of the lake, confident in her short stride and excited to figure out what rank she could possibly be good for. Sam always wanted to do more for her pack than just chores- she didn't want to be an omega... she knew her brother would probably never let her fight... so what was the girl to do. Still, hopefully, Aella and her brother were behind her, Samantha took a seat near the middle front of everything, perching herself on one of the many logs, waiting for the meeting to start.

_____"You may as well!" Basil barked in irritation. His sister didn't need him. No one did at this point. He was just trying to protect her like always but of course, being the age they were another boy had come along to do the job for him. Basil noticed Mariana headed their way, he didn't know if he should be relieved or more irritated. The girl would be a good companion for her over the summer, but also just an excuse for her to see Mateo even more. "Don't be late to the meeting," he told Mariana as they passed one another. With a deep inhale, the brute held it in as he walked- his slight anger issues had been getting the best of him. Or temper rather, something he inherited from his father apparently. Basil exhaled slowly as he waved at his sister and began heading to the meeting.
_____What was he going to do. No Aloe... would be work on his healing practices? Be a fighter? He was too light in fur to be a scout, it would have worked well back home, but out in the woods, not so much. Basil didn't know what to do, she was practically his other half. Maybe work on finding a roommate? With his light body weight, his bag was closely matching it, making it more complicated to walk the more time he spent trecking along. On his way to the meeting though, he had heard that Ezra found a roommate with Kearan, and several other girls had found their roommates... Maybe Alec would want to room with him? Lifting his pale face in the air, the non-albino born from albinos found the scent, heavily mixed with Kat's cotton candy perfume scent. Nausiating, he thought to himself, suddenly second-guessing his idea as he came upon the cabins. But if he didn't ask, he would be stuck with even less appealing options.

_____"Whoa-whoa-whoa," Declan scoffed, raising a brow as he retracted his head slightly as if she had been snapping at his face with her wolf jaws. Declan often partook in the sexualization of the female role- his family was so old school, he really didn't know any better- though that was hardly an excuse. "You shouldn't loathe me either, I'd do quite a bit for you," he added with a wink. Probably inappropriate, but that was just Declan.
_____Listening to all of her points, the brute sighed and shook his head. "Bex-bex-bex... shhh," he tried to slow her down. She had great points but she was forgetting a few things he needed to remind her of, regardless of his desire to belong to a pack. "While all of this is true... you have to remember one thing. There is strength in numbers, correct?" he asked her, even though she was likely to retort that the lot of them didn't have half the strength as one of them. "So what would be better than killing them all ourselves?" he asked low, slightly under his breath. "If we join them and take over- correct?" he asked her, curious of her thoughts. "Look- mom and dad failed their pack- it took them THIS LONG, to rebuild the mansion we now live in. What is it they are lacking?" he asked her again. "A pack."
_____Declan tapped his temple with his index and middle finger as he looked at her. "There is a pack right there... and sure we will have to play nice, by their rules, but only for a little while... Just wait... we can take it over, and have the strength mom and dad never had-" he explained, his arms out in a shrug. "They wouldn't be dead, we wouldn't be punished... your brother is a genius," he smirked. "Besides... I think I know exactly how we can do this... Little miss Anya Moon has a few secrets shes buried in the backyard and I think just maybe they're starting to surface," he smirked, nodding in the direction of her discussing things with her own brother, worry all over her face.

_____"Well, to be honest, I heard our parents slummed it up in the sewers of Westhaven for nearly half a year... so this will do just fine for me," she remarked with a quaint laugh. Ketsiah was unpacking her things when her sister made a comment about where to put her Glock, to which the girl's eyes grew to the size of saucers as she gasped, laughing of course after tossing a pillow at her sisters head. "Hush, you!" Ketsiah smiled and looked around at the bare cabin, it was a little bleak but they didn't need anything girly or insanely eloquent... Just maybe something that made it seem more like home. "We really need a mutt... I wonder if mom and dad can send Jewel down?" she sighed, sitting on her bed and bringing her knees to her chest.

"Yeah- worst case, I'm sure we can break in and make something," she snickered. "I'm not really from one place, but I have the fondest memories of South and North Carolina," she said, shrugging a bit. She had lived in the east her whole life, literally starting from the top (Pennsylvania) and working her way down before being thrown off by yet another move. She nodded when he asked for confirmation. It was the first time she'd seen snow in years. And for three whole days at that.
"Hm. I guess you're right if it must get that cold. I've seen news where people's cars go 'a'slidin' down the roads on a slant." she chirped, turning faintly red at how stupid she may have seemed. Obviously, she stuck out when it came to other places outside the southeast.
And he was most definitely correct about her being unknowledgeable about pack life. She kept the fact that she hadn't even thought it existed (due to it being such a cliche name) to herself. Kirsa giggled softly, "Aww, that's nice of you to say." she said. She wasn't the person used to being given compliments to (it was Almi, who was often overwhelmed under it became common). "And I don't see much wrong with being weird. If everyone was the same, it'd be quite a boring world." she hummed, using her open hair with her bag to pull her hair away from her face.
Kirsa paled as he mentioned her being a werewolf. Shoot, she had slipped about her human heritage. She licked her dry lips (she hated chapstick), "Er... they don't really know about werewolves much. That's also why my sister came with me." she said, feeling a bit awkward talking about her parents.
She lightened at his scoff. He was just being curious, which she almost always was. She may have done the same thing to him by accident, and that made her feel a bit better. She replaced her smile, "I'm not tryna' push you off. My sister doesn't really like people, but they always seem to like her!" she chuckled. She had no idea of what Daniel was, aside but what seemed like a charming boy with a good attitude.
At his final comment, she about snorted, but she withheld herself, "I never said I wasn't interested in you. I don't mind meeting other people though, handsome or not." she hummed, trying to avoid implying whatever it was that he seemed to be annoyed about.
Almi noticed a familiar, bright-red hairdo off in the corner of her eye, talking with some boy who seemed about the same age as her. She watched first for a few minutes. Kirsa talked, tugged on her sleeve... and paled. That concerned her. Kirsa paled only under two conditions: People finding her scar, or having to talk about the distance between her family and her werewolf attack. Under this notion, she got up and waited a minute more before sashaying over.
"Who is this?" she demanded to Kirsa, a bit angry because of the paling incident. She didn't look angry, just concerned.
"We were just talking about you. Daniel, this is my sister." she elbowed her, "Told you she's a doll."
Almi sighed, "Kirsa... just stop. You do this too much."

OOOO"No. Duh. You," Ezra retorted and stuck his tongue out at her. He knew she was still learning and that she hadn't meant anything by making sure he didn't make Cylas feel like a charity case, but he was a little brother and he had to be annoying sometimes. He laughed and shook his head at her suggestion, "I think they both have somewhat different connotations, but you can go with that if you want to."
OOOO"It wouldn't be much of a secret if you knew about it," Ezra retorted with a grin and shrugged. "Maybe you being our Alphaess is why they're not so open about it. That can be a bit intimidating if you're on the outside of it." He could be way off base, but he knew most considered her a beautiful girl, he probably would if he wasn't her brother, and just wild enough to be fun without being too wild to deal with. He himself wasn't quite to the point where he was really into girls yet. He'd noticed them on occasion but not in a way that he was considering relationships yet.
OOOOLooking over as she questioned his comment he replied, "I didn't say that. Honestly, I had no clue either way but I know that sometimes we think we want something because we're expected to want it, and you and I have never really talked about it before. But if you really feel that way then you do want it, so the point is moot. You'll have to be careful about finding a guy, but that doesn't mean it won't happen." He rolled his eyes and lightly grabbed her arm just above the shoulder, "That will only stand in your way if you put it in your way. From what mom said about her when I asked she was a good woman and a good Alphaess. The only real reason things went wrong was that she was in the relationship with dad for the Rank and not for love. You don't have to worry about that 'cause the Rank is already yours."
OOOOHe dropped his hand though and took a step back as he rolled his eyes at her comment about the posterboards and waved his hand saying, "Joke, you dork." Laughing he waved and walked off adding, "Same to you."

OOOOEzra chuckled at Kearan's reply and grinned at the questioning of his name and replied, "Ezra!" He gave the slightly taller boy a playfully, light punch on the shoulder and nodded, "I am!" He understood Kearan's shock, he'd be surprised in the other brute's shoes as well, that was part of the reason he'd asked, he wanted Kearan to feel like part of their Pack.
OOOOHe chuckled and shrugged then replied, "Well you're the only one in our Pack that I don't know very well, if you're going to stay with us I'd like to get to know you, what better way than making you deal with me for a week. I mean, it'd be just as likely you wouldn't want to room with someone like me. Some dorky fourteen-year-old. Most guys your age would probably find me incredibly annoying." Then again he tended to be more mature for his age than most other boys at fourteen, something else he'd gotten from his mother, part of the reason she and his older father got along so well. He knew Kearan had a bit of a checkered past, but he also knew things had been hard on him from the get-go and his mother had impressed on them very intently that they would be more likely to help keep him out of going back to that life by being friendly not by judging him.
OOOO"Right, you are!" He said and started towards the cabins. As they walked he answered, "Nah, I'm not really into all that responsibility, I think I'll just take a role as a Hunter, that's what my Mom was before she and Dad got together and she thinks I have a good knack for it. You?" He didn't really care a whole lot where he stayed, he'd like to get one close to Anya but she hadn't chosen a cabin yet so he couldn't really do that, besides it wasn't like he needed to be near her, so he just picked the first one he saw with no one in it and looked over his shoulder at Kearan, "How's this one?"

OOOOAlec rolled his eyes with a smirk but otherwise ignore the girls' taunting, if he wasn't careful his eyes were going to roll right out of his head this week, he thought to himself, a joke his father made occasionally. After tossing his bags in the cabin he'd claimed and rejoining them he looked around their cabin, both appeared pretty much exactly the same. That was when Sam came running over to hug him and he almost didn't brace himself fast enough as he laughed and hugged her back. "Well, I'm glad you're happy about it."
OOOOHis brow furrowed at her judgment of his language and he replied, "I said it twice, and what's wrong with 'fine'?"
OOOO"You know what fine stands for?" Aella asked teasingly, joining in with Sam of course. "Freaked out, Insecure, Neurotic, and Emotional."
OOOO"You're going to make me regret your entrance into our lives aren't you?" Alec asked jokingly. "Okay then. This temporary, wooden, forest abode is exceptional. And: The three of us do not have to worry about being late as the meeting as it is not for another half an hour. Better?"
OOOO"Oooh, we poked the bombastic bear," Aella said as she poked Alec's shoulder and he gave her a bear-like growl in reply.
OOOO"Responsible adult?" he asked and looked around. "Let's see," he pointed at her, "fourteen," then at himself, "fifteen, and" he pointed at Aella with a questioning expression.

OOOO"We're all in order," he muttered before finishing his point, "I see no adults here, just teenagers." He was already more grown-up than most fifteen-year-olds, thanks to being her caregiver basically, and didn't want to lose every last bit of his childhood too fast. He laughed again and headed out the door with her, Aella just behind him and closing it after they were all out. The pair started to follow after her but Alec stopped at the sound of his name, so Aella jogged off to join her on the log.

OOOOCylas chuckled at his sister's exclamation about the bus and nodded in agreement about their mother. He understood of course, since she'd been a foster-child she hadn't had any 'special moments' with her parents. No one had cared when she'd gone off to her own camp the year she'd been turned, if anything they'd probably sent her off to get rid of her for a little while. Their father wasn't much better as his father had pretty much hated his existence and the closest thing they'd had to a special moment was when they finally got the man in jail. He had been just as adamant as their mother was about driving them up here. He smirked and looked down when she hugged him and returned it. Most teenage big brothers would've been revolted about hugging their sisters, but thanks to his "disability" and her trying to help him with it they were instead, pretty much, best friends. Of course that might just be because he didn't really have any other close friends.
OOOONodding at her own response to the overprotective part he added, "True, but I'd be a lot less effective about it." He might be bigger than she was but she could still beat the crap out of him, not that she ever would. Chuckling at the desk bit as he followed after her he replied, "Yea, well if it comes down to your desk or Daniel I will definitely take your desk. Or maybe I can use not having a bunkmate as an excuse to go back home." He followed behind the girls and dropped his bags off just inside the door, silently standing by as they talked about Eris's rank.
OOOOHis gaze flicked back up though at the sound of his name and rolled his eyes at her and replied, “Okay, Mom ,” he repeated his earlier joke. “But at this point, with everything you’ve tried that may very well be an if not a when.” There were no other half-breeds that they knew of and he had begun to think that it may just be impossible for him. Yes, he could be a bit pessimistic. “And even if I do, no, I can't. I’m still weaker than everyone else and couldn’t be a Fighter, also I’m a klutz and not sneaky so I also couldn’t be either a Scout or a Hunter. Blood makes me uncomfortable so a Healer is a horrible idea. I don't have patience for children and all the top ranks will be taken by the more qualified Pups. So again, that only leaves one rank unless Anya inexplicably falls in love with me which is about as likely as me turning into a wolf this second.” Which of course didn’t happen.

Aloe Attwood

OOOO"Pouting doesn't become you, Twin Brother," Aloe called over her shoulder her shoulder as she walked. She hated the idea of pulling away from Basil, they'd always done everything together and she didn't want to change that, but she also wasn't going to let him stand in the way of her future happiness, nor was she going to let him make her hurt Mateo just so he could feel needed when she'd never actually pushed him away, she'd just been spending a little less time with him. She knew he'd find a girl eventually and would understand.
OOOOHeading up the porch steps and into the cabin she'd chosen she looked around and grinned at the long window. She'd easily be able to keep a few plants in here without bothering her roommate. She carefully placed her sprouts on her bed and opened the bag to take them out. They appeared to have done fine on the ride over so she placed all the tiny greenhouses, or green-rooms as she liked to jokingly call them, on or near the window sill to get the last rays of the sun for the day. She would take them out to the green house tomorrow.
OOOOOnce they were all settled she headed back out and wandered down to the meeting place, sitting near but not right beside Sam and Aella with a wave and a quiet, "Hey guys."

OOOOLucilla laughed and shrugged, "Well if you are then no one will feel super anxious about being late to things in the future." She snickered and headed off alongside Anya with a wave to her sister. She herself had only brought some jeans, some shorts, and some t-shirts. She wasn't much into clothes or makeup or even hair. She'd had her hair dyed black and blue, and her fur white and black, but she never bothered with styling and she wasn't too concerned about her roots showing while she was here. The only thing she was really concerned with was trying to figure out who she was. Even though her adoptive parents were amazing she'd always wondered who she would be if her biological parents were still alive and she hoped this time away from home would help with that.
OOOOShe looked over at Anya's question and was just about to ask what she meant before Anya explained herself without prompt. She nodded and answered, "I'm fine with that. I regularly wake up in the middle of the night anyway." She let out a small laugh, but it wasn't really that funny as it was old nightmares from the day her parents died coupled with her current fears now that occasionally woke her up. She hadn't woken up screaming or anything since she was a kid, so she wasn't worried about randomly waking Anya up, but she knew she'd spend several nights awake as usual.
OOOOShe followed Anya inside and dropped her stuff on a bed, not really paying attention to their locations or anything as it didn't matter to her and nodded again as they headed back out to the meeting place, "I'm good, as long as you're okay with rooming with the person with the loudest siblings here." She laughed and made sure their door was closed securely before heading down towards the lake.

OOOOLucilla herself was only five-foot-two, she was never sure if she was just short or if her growth had been stunted by being in wolf form for an entire month of her still growing childhood. But thanks to having two taller siblings and parents she was used to walking faster than someone her height normally would and easily kept up with Anya without having to push herself. She found a seat by her sister who had decided to leave her bags in Aloe's nearby cabin and find a bunkmate after the meeting. At Anya's question though she shrugged and said, "I don't know, I was kind of thinking Delta if no one else wanted it."
OOOO"*¡Oh dios mío!" Mariana exclaimed excitedly. "You would be so good as Delta! Maybe even better as Beta though!"
OOOOLucilla laughed softly and shrugged, "I'm guessing Alec is going to want that and I think he'd be better at it, especially since his parents actually are Betas and he does a lot of making sure everyone is doing okay." She'd noticed he often did his best to make sure everyone was okay, even other than Sam. He'd protected Cylas when Falon wasn't around. Once he'd stopped her from turning on a light in a room without warning Aloe first, no one else had noticed that. She'd often caught him standing aside when things were going on and he was just keeping an eye on everything.

OOOOBexley just rolled her eyes at her quoting their father, "Father's not here, Declan, you made me come so don't expect me to act like his perfect little 'mom clone'." In the home she had always done her best to basically act exactly like her mother, but she hated that life and she didn't want any of it. No one knew that though, not even Declan. If she had her choice she'd just be a loner and travel. Very little in her life had ever been her choice though, life as a female in a family that had remained quite attached to the old ways. Truthfully though their father was quite progressive to treat their mother the way he did. She was an actual person to him, to whom he gave a lot of respect. His own father, their grandfather, had treated their grandmother as only a body to make babies and relieve his sexual and violent urges with. Their father hadn't ever been shy about it either. All their aunts had been sold and he and his brothers had been trained and then pitted against each other till he was the last standing. He'd often told them how easy they had it.
OOOOShe narrowed her eyes a bit as he winked at her, not fully sure what he meant by that. He was quite protective of her so probably nothing bad, but then again he could be a bit controlling and she was never completely sure of his intentions or plans, even the ones involving her. She knew she would always be under the control of one man or another, at least if it were him he wouldn't hurt her, she was pretty sure he wouldn't anyway. She let out a low growl when he shushed her, but guessed she would have to get used to it, she was a female so she really should keep her mouth closed right? Even though she much preferred storming off she waited and heard him out, realizing he wasn't here just to get away from home and learn about Pack life, they hadn't really talked about his plans at all, then again there had been really no safe place to do that at home. Even if they weren't part of a Pack her father still had cronies all over the city. She wouldn't be surprised if he had spies here as well but no one seemed to be paying attention to them.
OOOOHe apparently had more of this planned out that he had ever let on, and more than he was explaining now as well. She didn't have any real arguments, not without revealing her own desires to just get away from everything. Instead she replied coldly, "Dad still had a Pack when they lost everything, numbers don't always count for everything. Besides, he was one of the few that survived, he grew up in a constant struggle for power. You've been trained to fight but never the way he was. Mom would've never allowed that. You really think you can take him on? And even if Anya has secrets what makes you think the rest of them will just go along with this?"

OOOO"True," Cindra said with a laugh. "And it'll the better than those few months they sent us out for wilderness survival training," she added. Their father had spent the first several years of his life as a Hunter out in the wilderness with his master, so he knew well how to survive with none of today's luxuries and wanted to make sure they could as well. They'd only come to the city they lived in now because of the Pack they'd followed here. Even when his master had been killed in battle they didn't leave, deciding to stay and try to finish the job even though they were outnumbered and had to be extra careful now that the world new of them. Laughing and catching the pillow her twin threw at her she threw it back and replied, "I will not hush!"
OOOORolling her eyes she replied, "Oh yeah, that's a great plan, sis. Bring the trained werewolf down here amongst all the other werewolves so they know we have her and are Hunters. That's a great way to blend in." She actually wanted the mutt around as well, it was nice to have an alarm system that could kill someone around, "Like I said, maybe we can still a wild animal from its mom or something and say we rescued it if anyone asks."
OOOOAfter getting her bed set up she nodded in agreement and headed for the door saying, "Yes, noms must occur one way or another. If nothing else we can go murder a deer and consume its flesh." She laughed and bounced out the door and headed past the other cabins and towards the not-so-close mess hall.

It seemed that the time dragged while she stood near an empty cabin. She picked one of the further back ones just to stay away from the other kid. Now all she needed was a room mate , so she made her way back over to where the kids were dropped off at. Everyone else had seemed to run off to their cabins and probably getting ready for the evening. She, however, was probably going to skip everything just to sit in her cabin alone.

As she looked at the area, nobody other than the Declan and his sister stood out to her. Sure, there were other kids, but she had met Declan back when school was in. The girl fixed her hair onto both sides of her shoulders, before walking over to Declan and the girl. Leilani realized they were in mid conversation and didn't want to interrupt the two of them, but it looks like they'd be at it for hours if she didn't. Instead of letting the small bit of confidence she had destroy her opportunity of talking to someone, she headed on over.

" Hey Declan, long time no see., " she spoke up as she looked over to the girl standing next to him. They looked someone a like, so it was probably safe to say that they were siblings. " Guess you two were to good to get on the bus with the rest of us huh?, " she asked the both of them attempting to include the girl in front of Declan. Although her aura didn't seem too welcoming to Leilani, Bexley's aura didn't bother her. In fact, she was more intrigued to why she got the vibe of wanting to be left alone from the girl.

The group headed off to the cabin that Eris and Falon would share for the summer. Eris had pushed her belongings onto one side as her cousin put her stuff in the other. She checked the time, before she started taking out a few of her things from her suitcases. Eris knew that when they came back later that night, she would not want to take the time to put everything up. Instead of pushing off unpacking, now was probably the best time to get it done. Eris stood up straight and pulled her hair back to put it in a ponytail while she unpacked her things. Her hand grabbed a hair scrunchie off her wrist and slipped onto her hair, locking it in place. Eris pulled a bag away from the wall , tossing it on her bed. Quickly, she unzipped the luggage and began pulling things out onto her bed.

" How much time do I have before this meeting?, " she asked as she picked up the pace. Everything needed to be in it's place, or at least majority of it. Eris kept her focus on her stuff and listened out to her cousin's conversation. They were still talking about the ranks they were choosing between. " You know Cy, you can always build your strength so you can get a little stronger. Don't let anyone tell you what you can and can't do.," she spoke to him as she continued to walk around the room putting her things up.

" You know Roman wants to be like our father and become the delta. His expectations are a tad bit high, for someone who's parent left the rank for some girl., " she snickered as she put away the rest of her clothes. After she finished she tucked both of her suit cases underneath the bed. " There isn't anything wrong with them at all. He just wanted us to have multiple skills and if they weren't open to helping us at a time, we could do it on our own.," she shrugged. She didn't mean to offend the names of the pack's healers.

____Daniel had to admit, feeling like he was being pushed off on someone else was not only irritating, but it was hurtful. He couldn't help but give a half smile however as Kirsa continued to speak, her small mannerisms and speech were charming. It was words and fraises like 'the fondest of memories,' that made him curious to know more about her. Other girls didn't talk like that- and he liked that she was different. "You should try running on the roads with four paws," he joked when she mentioned the cars slipping down hills. Running in wolf form was the most liberating thing, but doing so on the ice was embarrassing to say the least.
____"I might have to start calling you Alice, the way you talk about being weird," he smirked. Alice in Wonderland, his mother's favorite. She used to read it to them all the time, and the way the girl had been fond of the abnormalities of the world made him see even more how different she was and why he was beginning to really enjoy her company. He was sort of surprised when Kirsa mentioned her family didn't know what she was. "No one knows?" he asked, raising a brow. "Your human sister is here... and she doesn't know you're a werewolf... going to a meeting about more werewolves?" he asked her trying to get the story straight, in case he ever ran into her sister.
____"Sure, sure. Meeting other people-" he nodded. Just goes to show how often I talk to girls... he thought to himself silently. "Yeah, well you wouldn't like my brother much- he's boring," he shrugged with a smirk. "If you really want to learn the ropes, just stick with me we will get your wo-" he started but paused as he saw a girl approach. She seemed too interested in the conversation to be an innocent bi-standard. This must be her sister, he thought to himself for a moment before she spoke, confirming his suspicion. "Well hello," he greeted, raising a brow as he tried to recover from his sentence lapse, still not sure about her sister's knowledge of her existence in the werewolf community.
____Daniel nodded at Kirsa's comment. "That she is," he agreed, her sister was very pretty- and strong for a human, she appeared 'angry,' but he knew she was just being protective. "I don't think I caught your name," he interrupted the girl, scolding Kirsa for doing whatever it was too much. Holding his hand out he smirked. "I'm Daniel, I was just going to show your sister around..." he explained, still being careful not to leak too much information.

_____Kearan took the playful punch and just smirked, it didn't really hurt, he had been beaten up so many times fighting for food on the streets, it really didn't phase him much. "Cool," he laughed, tilting his head not really sure what to think of it. Was the Alpha's son just trying to pull one over on him? He didn't seem the type. Kearan knew the Alpha of his father's pack, and he was good to him and his family, especially once they had passed. Kearan only figured the same of Ezra. "Suppose that makes sense, considering I've kind of been crashing in your living room the last two months," he laughed crossing his arms across his chest and looking down for a moment, slightly embarrassed.
_____"Nonsense," he shrugged, picking his bag back up. "I definitely will appreciate the company, spent most of my growing up alone," he admitted. Kearan didn't find much to be annoying, he was quite the flexible teenager. As Ezra started to walk towards the cabins, Kearan smiled at his positivity and upbeat mannerisms, it was definitely contagious, he found himself feeling confident in himself just hanging around the Alphaess's brother. "Hunter huh? That might be interesting," he replied, his smile grew into a toothy grin. "Still need to see what I would be good at," he mentioned, he knew how to hunt and fight... but whether he would be cut out for either position was the real question.
_____The boy looked around at all the cabins and laughed a bit. They had been in a circle and aside from their position of that circle, they all had looked the same. "It has a roof and a bed, that's all I care about," he snickered. Kearan followed the boy in and set his small duffle bag down, it was a lot of the same stuff- mostly what he could afford, plain shirts, jeans, a few pairs of shorts. Kearan sometimes rummaged the lost and found but he had to be careful because people were catching onto him wearing things they had lost. Tucking his bag under the bed, the brute stood and took a deep breath.
_____"We should probably get going," he realized, noticing the sun start to dim as it made its way behind the mountain, which made it get dark quite fast since they had been on the middle range and the wrong side of the peak. Grabbing an ocean blue hoodie from his bag, the boy slipped it over his head and looked at Ezra to see if he was ready.

_____Slowing his jog, Kearan was really wishing he had been able to be in his wolf form, but soon enough. At least that's what he told himself. Anya was already standing in front of a slow-burning campfire, looking more anxious than ever. Kearan couldn't tell if he was going to be afraid of her or feel sorry for her. "She seems tense," he commented, curious if Ezra was at all worried about his sister. She hadn't been pacing, kind of just looking out over the crowd of the pack that was, and greeting people as they entered the meeting area. The most prominent thing he realized was that she was alone. No beta, no delta. Just the lone Alphaess beginning the pack. "I hope she brought s'mores," he joked, but really he was hungry. "I heard there was a hunt after though," he grinned, in all seriousness.

_____Samantha looked back at her brother and Aella, sighing with displeasure at their bickering, they were going to miss all of the marshmallows at this rate. "Temporary?" Samantha repeated her brother aloud. She always knew they would move on eventually but this place was not exactly something past tense- Sam had a hard time putting that word to good use without getting sad about one day leaving because if so, why get attached. Samantha's blank stare faded and a smile replaced itself on her face at Aella's comment. "Pffft. Yeah... you bombastic bear," she laughed, shaking her head, realizing she didn't actually know the definition of the word. "Aren't you supposed to be a wolf.... a wolfish wolf..." she snorted a laugh, her wordplay was not quite as good.
_____"Aaaargh you guys! We are going to be laaaayytaaahh!" she stressed, flipping her hair over her shoulder before waving them to hurry. It seemed Alec had found the company of Basil, not her first choice, he was always correcting her, but he was nice. "We will meet you there!" She called over her shoulder at her brother as she linked arms with her new bunkmate and headed to the meeting. "I'm not sure how she feels about that," one of her alternate personalities admitted her thoughts aloud- unaware that Aella had still yet to experience her in full psychosis, only small bits at a time. "I mean Sam relies on Alec for everything... but it would be nice if he had his own friends and didn't worry so much... maybe even help her figure some things out- you never know," the girl shrugged. Sam had yet to discover the names of her personalities, or their origin or how temporary or permanent they really were. All she knew is they existed and stepped into the light of her consciousness whenever they decided it was a good idea.
_____Once at the meeting, having taken up what Sam would call "primo seating," which was near the front and center of it all, the girls had settled into their spot and waited for things to start up. A familiar voice had sound behind her though, it was Aloe Attwood, she was probably the second closest thing- besides Aella- that Sam had to a friend. Sam used to spend many hours in the infirmary, whether it be a hazard of her condition or just her clumsy nature, she was always getting either stitched up or 'adjusted,' for her condition. "Oh hi, Aloe! Are you so excited? This is Aella, have you met her? She's like my best friend, but better," she confirmed with a nod. Sam still hadn't quite figured out how the pack thing worked... or well most werewolves knew other werewolves so her question was really just a spaz attack. "Well I am so excited," she laughed, leaning back and kicking her legs a bit as they dangled off of the log bench.

_____Basil waved a dismissal at Aloe, he was just protecting her- if she couldn't see that he didn't know how he would ever be able to help. The brutes job was always to take care of her, 'make sure your sister doesn't stay in the sun too long,' or 'don't forget her sunscreen,' and his favorite, 'include your sister,' which was always easy as they were twins... so it wasn't like he was carting around a toddler, he just felt like he was currently without purpose now that she didn't want his help. More so, that she didn't really want him around at all it felt like. He didn't really ever develop friends, he was always too worried about Aloe to try and establish such things- which he realized, no one had asked him to do so.
_____"Hey, I uh- I was just wondering if you had anyone to room=- or uh- cabin with?" he asked him a bit confused at his own question before laughing a bit. Basil hadn't known Alec too well yet, but he was the future Beta, and Basil thought he should probably stick close to him, especially if he would be working with him a lot, being a healer. "My sister is determined to get herself killed and bunking WAY out by the greenhouse... so I figured maybe having good company would keep my mind off of it," he shook his head. It sounded cruel when he put it that way. "Also, figured it might be good to have a medic nearby for Sam... not like it's official or anything but my dads been training me night and day since I could say myocardial infarction," he laughed.

_____The small group walked the surprisingly long distance to the meeting place from the cabins, to which Falon had too much fun just thinking about all of the fun things they would be doing over the summer. She was free. Cylas was free. Eris was free. They were all free and Falon had no idea what to even begin with for this journey. "I'm sure you would be plenty effective about it-" Falon laughed. "If it came down to it, I bet you would be a great protector, especially if it came down to me being in trouble," she noted with a nod and the point of her finger. Fallon paused and pivoted her foot to turn and face her brother with a stern look. "You are not going home," she huffed, crossing her arms. "Don't leave me...please???" she asked now melting into more of a pleading little sister mode.
_____Falon wouldn't be able to stay if he went home, Cylas was her best, closest friend and she could not imagine the experience without him. Even if he never shifted, which really had been more apparent of a concern than before. "Cylas... don't say that you will. Just ... we need the right timing, that's all," she tried to reassure him. Maybe she needed her brother to fall in love with someone because the sisterly love thing was not helping him out...Falon would have to think about it. Anya- "THAT'S IT!" Falon cheered. "We have to set you up with Anya! What do you think Eris!?" she asked her, knowing Cylas would never go for it. Falon flinched dramatically. "Oh sorry- I thought you might turn into a werewolf this very second," she joked.
_____"Eris is right, you can do whatever you put your mind to- even if you start out as an Omega, you can always move up from there," she nodded with a smile. It was true, in a way, Cylas was lucky to have so many options. Falon nodded at Eris's comment about her father. "Suppose, but no one here knows about that, I'm sure Roman could totally handle Delta!" she shrugged, not really sure why he couldn't. Falon was much more excited about the meeting than getting everything in its rightful place, so she of course just shoved her bag under her bed to be unpacked later. "But really- let's go!" she laughed, climbing down the three steps to their cabin and setting off for the meeting.

_____Once the three had made their way down to the meeting place, Falon nearly gasped at how pretty it was. The lake was sparkling with the light waves that lapped at the shore, the sherbet sunset on the horizon, Anya standing along in front of the blazing fire and people filling in the seating. "Slightly pitiful isn't it..." Falon whispered. "Anya needs to find a mate... or at least her Beta... standing all alone looks no fun," she confirmed, nudging Cylas a bit. "You should go keep her company," she teased. Taking a seat near the left edge of the group, Falon made sure to accommodate her claustrophobia by sitting on the end just a bit. "Is this thing starting soon?" she asked a bit too loud.

_____Anya smiled, nearly flinching at Mariana's outburst. "Oh my goodness," she unknowingly translated. "I think you're right. So far, I believe it's you and Roman up for Delta... but there's one of each gender so I suppose it doesn't much matter- same with Betas... there's usually a pair is there not?" she asked, she didn't want to keep them long, she knew the crowd was pulling in. "Well just really think about it because I think you would be great at whatever you do," she nodded. Anya wasn't sure of how public Lucilla's past was, but her father had filled her in a bit, about how she was the adoptee that came from loners- this meant she was incredibly strong for dealing with such loss, knowledgeable about many things from different lifestyles, and incredibly brave for wanting a part in a pack when her parents had avoided them. "I don't want to keep you though, if you want to take a seat," she shrugged, she didn't want to bother them, not really sure how this whole thing was going to go- it was so loosey-goosey due to the lack of ranks, Anya didn't much know how to guide everything just yet

_____"Mom clone?" Declan snorted a laugh. "Why would I want you to be like mom- and she isn't perfect either... you know she was in several packs before she found dad's don't you? ... It's kind of the way of the wolf," he added, raising a brow at his little sister. "Besides, the longer you stay at home the more likely you are to end up like the others before you- sold off for a treaty," he scoffed. "You should be thanking me for getting you out of there," he told her more seriously. Declan had always done his best to protect his little sister- she didn't need physical protection or even emotion, it wasn't like that, it was more of the things she couldn't control.
_____"I'm not taking dad on- I'm going to show him I can get my own power, even if I come from nothing... you have to admit- even with the training we have had we could easily beat Anya out, she's a pampered princess with nothing but lies and deceit ... you really think anyone will want to follow her?" he laughed a bit. Declan straightened up his outfit a bit, tucking his bag away before looking back at Bexley. "Are you ready to go and watch it all fall apart?" he asked, but the sound of an approaching voice had pricked his interest- Lelani. A love interest of his he had kept secret from his family nearly all year.
_____"Ah, Miss Thorne," he smirked, turning around to greet her, pulling her in for a side hug as they faced Bexley. "You know it, Durantes don't take the bus," he joked. The two had talked in decent depth about Declan's distaste for the separation he felt from the others and how it was mostly due to his family's social standing. They were practically bred for it, high-class luxuries. "This is my sister, Bexley- Bexley, this is my friend Lelani, she's pretty cool but not as cool as us," he teased, releasing her from his side. "My sister and I were actually just about to head to the pack meeting," Declan changed the subject, practically insisting Bexley was to go whether she wanted to or not. "You wanna tag along, for old loner's sake?" he asked, raising a brow.

_____"No kidding- these pillows are softer than my entire life's collection of pillows and blankets piled on my rocky bed," she laughed, catching the pillow and tossing it at her bed. Ketsiah and Cindra didn't have a hard life, they were actually quite spoiled compared to the life her mother and father had led, but it didn't change the fact that these werewolves and other humans had it much easier. Their mother had always raised them to rely on the love for their family and the loyalty to their comrades, it was all they would ever need- that and brute strength.
_____"Well what are they going to say," she laughed. "How dare you be the way you were made? We could say the same about them- Jewel couldn't be a person again if she wanted to... even if we let her go she would still likely fight to the death for our sake," she explained with a shrug. "We would risk nothing and at least they would stay the hell away from us," she added with a smirk. "We should do that- it will be full grown before summers end anyhow, maybe a good hunting session is in order," she nodded, exchanging her black jacket for a sage green vest over her black long sleeve. It wasn't exactly summer practical, but Ketsiah enjoyed the joke of 'not wanting to burn,' when people asked.
_____"Oh sure, consuming deer flesh would definitely not tip-off that we are hunters. Actually good plan... that would also keep the werewolves away," she laughed. "I don't know about you but I was actually looking forward to the junk food we will be eating this summer... I've never had this normal food before- mom and dad kept us on that raw diet... time to be a teenager," she commented, her mouth nearly watering thinking about pizza and all the weird tater tot casseroles camp would bring them that she had never tried.
_____Getting to the mess hall in stride with her sister, Ketsiah frowned at the menu as they looked in. Burgers and fries, how typical. "I suppose this is a good transition meal," she shrugged. "THEY HAVE POP," she cheered, snatching a bright purple can labeled 'grape,' and cracking it open. "I am going to get so fat this summer," she said, nearly choking on the fizz of her drink. Ketsiah watched others file in and get food behind them, and in front of them. Sitting down with her tray, the girl looked around and took note of those in the room- mostly human from what she could tell... but where were all the wolves? "I think we are missing something," she commented.

Kirsa & Almi
Kirsa had to admit, the idea of sliding on ice in her wolf form sounded very fun, since there never was an solid enough ice in the south (unless you counted getting attacked by flying ice from the hose.) She was a bit surprised at when he mentioned he should call her Alice (she had read the story), thinking rather of her nickname, Kir. Nobody had suggested Alice before.
She had formed something that made an excuse, "No, they know I'm a werewolf. I'm just... the only werewolf in my family. For my entire family tree...", but it quickly trailed off.
Kirsa herself was a handful. People could be as boring to her as long as they were willing to listen to her jabber on and on.
Almi wasn't exactly strong in the physical sense; She couldn't even lift her own body weight; but she was headstrong at times. She was about to go off again in mid-rant, when Daniel interrupted her. Taking a second to cool her nerves, she turned to him, "Almi." she said simply, very lightly shaking his outstretched hand. Unlike Kirsa, her palms were very smooth; she didn't go outside nearly as much.
She believed Daniel, but she hid a scowl when she noticed Kirsa, still holding his hand. Granted, it was a thing she did since her accident (grabbing hands of anyone she knew, so oblivious), but it still unsettled her (though she felt more unsettled than usual), more so than it likely should've.
Kirsa wanted to break her sister's tension, "He's not lying, if that's your're thinking" she chirruped, nudging her sister with an elbow.
"Kir, I swear to the high heavens you are going to be the death of me." Almi groaned at her, wishing her sister could keep her mouth shut for two seconds.
She turned back to Daniel, "Excuse me, Daniel, do you know where the nurse's cabin is?" she asked daintily, trying to be more of a "southern belle". She always tried to be on her best behavior, but Kirsa made it twice as hard. She was feeling a bit overwhelmed and tired at the same time, a wonderful combination for slight nausea and a headache.
