The Story Continues

Jace collapsed beside his dad, he sobbed and howled in anguish, announcing.

Devin did the same, devestated, he howled along with Jace, pouring out his heart.

Jace clutched onto his papa, even after wolves arrived to take care of the bodies.

Devin forced himself to be composed, he gently pulled Jace into his arms as he gave the wolves instructons.

Jace sobbed against Devin. He didn't have any alpha training really.

Devin held Jace tightly and rubbed his back gently.


(Garrow gave Jave lots of alpha training tho?))

(Jace avoided it most days and Garrow didn't really push him because he was expecting to lead a lot longer. Remember that was what he and Kodi were fighting about. Kodi wanted him to have more training so that he could take over the pack sooner and Garrow didn't want to retire)
Jace kissed Devin's cheek, just clutching onto him.

Devin sighed softly, "Let's go home, I have to get work done." he said softly as he lead him to his pack house.

Jace nodded and held his hand, sniffing softly. He felt the rings in his pocket jingling around. He was going to propose to Devin today [because he couldn't wait for Devin to propose xD], but it didn't seem like a good time anymore.

Devin kissed him softly, "It'll be okay, you can learn with me." he said softly as he looked at Jace. He was too nervous to propose, he was worried that they'd end up like Jace's parents, and that scared him. But right now that was the farthest thing on his mind as he took charge and knew he'd have to help Jace, so they could lead together.
