in 2018, a new type of rain fell from the sky. it wasn't necessarily acidic, but it carried a virus that m
ade water seem like the scariest thing. the virus that came from the rain was deadly- the moment it
got into the body, bad things started to happen. it was almost radioactive; the body would contort a
nd immediately begins to ruin the internal organs of the person it has infected. if someone comes in
to contact with the infected water, they become a contagious virus holder. these people are no wher
e near what one may describe as a zombie, either. these people act as regular humans, only they're c
ontagious and the virus takes a longer amount of time to become active in their immune system. tho
se who pick up the virus from animals or other people may experience flu-like symptoms, blood when
they cough and in mucus, chest pain, uncontrollable twitching, and a multitude of other symptoms. /

☁ prefers to speak in norwegian but does just fine speaking in english. it may be his second language, but it sometimes feels like his first.
☁ was attending uc berkeley. majored in psychology and minored in criminology. wasn't able to finish his college bc of the rain.

shiloh nystrom moved to the states from norway when he
was three years old. he was celebrating his best friend's b
irthday in a local pub when the rain hit, and since then h
as changed quite a bit. both his sister and his girl friend d
ied almost instantaneously; the rest of his family followed
shortly after. he now goes by north nystrom rather than sh
iloh and is that last living member of the nystrom family./

mikayla jade shaw is most definitely an unpredictable young woman. to
a newcomer, mick might come across as quiet and shy, which certainly
fits her petite body type, but this isn't always the case. mick is a mixt
ure of impulsive and cautious, making for a person who's genuinely un
-redictable in nature. mick's oldest brother and best friend are the on
ly ones who survived the rain alongside her. both parents are deceased.
