I hate being made fun of for my love of Kpop/BTS.
My classmates don't understand what I go through and make fun of me for it, it doesn't affect me because I think about BTS in the mean time.
I love BTS for many reasons, they make me so happy.
People don't understand that.

I relate so much. I get so many low key racist comments or shame for "being obsessed with hot boys and that's it". They think the music is bad simply because it's not English and its sung by a group of boys. (boy bands are apparently not skillful enough to be considered artists.) I've learned to ignore them and wear my apparel and do my drawings to my own enjoyment. Trust me, ignoring them works! Also, if you ever feel down about it because of them, you always have another world online, here, with us where we all love k-pop and bts c:

For me I don't tell people irl that I like them, so nobody knows because I know I'd probably be made fun of for it. I've already heard people bash kpop, even my friends so I wouldn't want to tell them.
I wish people could just accept that other people like things that might be weird to them. And our music taste isn't affecting them in any way so I don't know what their problem is.
I hate that people will assume that it's cringy or whatever when it's really not, just some fans can be over the top :/

I'm already running into these types of problems, as well. I don't get why people have the need to bash others for their interests. When I visit my sister in her camper I like to get on YouTube on their Xbox to listen to BTS and watch their music videos. She doesn't have a problem with it since she knows how much I like them but her husband..... He's a different story. He doesn't talk trash about them or anything but I know he doesn't care for them because when he hears them or sees me watching them he starts rolling his eyes, sighing, muttering to himself and all that crap. I mean, I have to listen to the stuff he likes all the damn time so what is so bad about doing it for me in return? It wouldn't kill him to listen to one K-Pop song. I don't know It's just frustrating.

I also hear a lot of replies like, "How can you tell them apart? They all look the same!", or ,"You don't even understand what they're saying so why do you like them so much?" It gets old after a while. 😒
