I try to get posts up when I can (I'm in central time) I'm just busy during the day and tend to stay up until four in the morning and sleeping till twelve. Well, now that the orientation is over, your characters could visit the main office where the principal is.

There's also a few people in the courtyard, and one or two still by the front gate. It'd be pretty easy to jump in with them, but you'd still have to visit the office. If either character is especially anti-social, or easily lost/clumsy, then you could join the two lost people in the hallway.
