April 4th, World Rat Day!

Romeo is a huge cuddler, he will spend the entire day with me happily snuggled in my lap.

Snitch is really pretty, but he has white feet, a fault in the showring. He may actually be a marked siamese, I think berkshire. He's also agressive sometimes, sadly. It isn't bad enough to neuter him but it is annoying. I think part of it is that he has a bad time seeing, I have seen him weave his head, and he'll bite things, including people, very hard, sometimes it seems like accidental.

Romeo and I have converted a ton of people. He has such a gentle, fearless personality, he can't help but win people over. I was out with him once and we were standing around, and some random guy came up. Long story short, the first thing he said was, "But aren't they slimey and dirty? How often do you bathe him?" It was very funny. by the time he left, he wanted a couple of his own.

Neat thread! I used to have rats when I was little, loved them to death! They are so intelligent and unique, I want to get more <3

Sadly.... We are clearing out our barn right now, and there are rats. My parents have oppted "get rid" of them in whatever ways neccasary... Even poison/guns. It makes me sad, and really, how different are we? Both humans and rats are extremely evasive species. I'v tried to reason but they have thier minds set, *sigh*.
