Haha, so I realize I never did this but I had a cool Idea i found the rough outline in my drafts
so here goes nothing;

Castiel shook out his space-grey fur, glancing up at the dark vastness that surrounded him.
He had been alone in this strange universe for as long as he could remember, just planets and stars
for as far as he could see. But he didn't mind, he never had.
His shimmering tail lifted when he saw the planet he had been looking for;
it was icy blue, and he could feel it's cold even before he had been more than 300 miles from it.
Cas stifled a sigh. He loved being surrounded by the stars and new and exciting life he'd never seen before,
but he hated his job.

Castiel closed his eyes, his tail illuminating in a harsh bright light, growing to an unbearable strength that could shame the sun.
He opened his steely, now glowing eyes and focused them on the planet. A moment of grief shone across them before he flicked his tail, the tiniest twitch of it's tip; and the once-stoic rock burst into a thousand asteroids, flying in every direction and disappearing into the black void. "I'm sorry my friends," he breathed, his light fading and his body warming, "But your planet was dying, and I must protect the healthy stars so they may thrive." he sat there for a moment more, enjoying the silence as he watched the last of the debris float away, wiping all signs of the planet's existence clean.
