Whenever there is a strong wind where I live, one of my friends comes up to me (or texts me if I'm not there) and asks if I'm okay. I wondered for the longest time what the heck they were talking about.
So my friend is like, "well when you kill Undyne and she goes undying, what happens to the weather in Waterfall?"
I could not stop laughing, I CANNOT believe these punks had this inside joke for the longest time!

Also, I have cut my long hair short after prom (my cute blonde date said yes, by the way). Like I literally came home and my mother cut it off for me.
I can still put it in a ponytail though. Here is the problem.
I'm Asian so I have very straight hair. My father and brother, their hair spikes up because it's so straight. When my hair is down, it looks normal.
But when I put it in a ponytail, it SPIKES like... I don't know how to explain its ridiculousness! It's like when you crack an egg, or when you break a baseball bat/chair leg/spear and it cracks and there are splinters coming off the end...

... But then I realized someone else whose ponytail suddenly becomes shorter and spikier, after a major rite-of-passage.



Really?!

To make matters funnier, I technically went from a long wispy ponytail to a short spiky one without ever removing the ponytail. My mother tied my hair in a ponytail, pulled it to the front, hacked off like 3 feet of it, and afterwards I was still in a ponytail (just a really short spiky one).
I never took the ponytail off until shower time, which was like... 10 minutes later but still. I took a long warm shower because you come home from dancing your butt off at prom and you just
melt.

Oh wait.

There's also the kitchen story. I cooked pasta for my little brother-

Thank you both!! We had a great time, and we danced our feet off. I felt like I was wading through molasses on the way home, or that I'd pet Greater Dog too much (because your movements slow down as he leans into you right?).
My date has been my best friend since we were kids. A cuddly sweetheart with a love for science, even though some of the weird math and science is just ... weird to me. I prefer legal studies, criminology, and justice.
Once we were making friendship bracelets for our class, a long time ago, and they chose the colors of blue, red, and black for me. I forget what they represented but it was strength and some other tough sounding stuff.

This gives me an IDEA: Undertale friendship bracelets!
I tried to include as many colors as possible, putting different colors such as Magenta with the original soul color.

Undertale Friendship Bracelet Colors

Red or Magenta (Frisk) = "I know I just met you, but I'm filled with DETERMINATION about our growing friendship"
Orange or Brown (Bravery) = "I have nothing to fear when I'm with you"
Yellow, Tan or Gold (Justice) = "you always try to do the right thing, to help people"
Any Green (Kindness) = "your kindness really makes you shine"
Light Blue or Teal (Patience) = "you've been my friend for a long time, and I know I can always count on you"
Dark Blue or Indigo (Integrity) = "I love how honest you are with me"
Purples or Pinks (Perseverance) = "thank you for helping me get through tough times"
White or Greys (A Monster's Soul) = "I've grown as a person, thanks to your friendship"
Black or Dark Red (Chara) = "you're my best friend, and I miss you a lot"

So a bracelet like this could tell a great story!

Maybe your friend defended you from some bullies in childhood, but they moved away. Now they are coming to visit so you give them this. Orange because they made you feel safe, Yellow because they did the right thing, Light Blue because you could always trust in them, and Black because you miss them.

I think the whole thing was one! Although I make death puns ALL the time. Since I run the LARP club at my school, I will inevitably get stabbed a lot, mostly from behind (because it's much easier to defeat me using brains than brawn).
I have to do some acting when I dramatically die, but the best part is my ridiculous casual comments.
Here are some highlights:
(Stabbed multiple times) "I get the point!"
(Cut in half) "I'm alright."
(Cut in half- alternate) "Yeah, I've got to split."
(Stabbed with my own spear bECAUSE IT'S BEEN DONE BEFORE) "Stick around, won't you?"
(Stabbed in the stomach) "You had a lot of 'guts' to try that move. It worked, though."
(Stabbed in the neck) "What? Do I talk too much?"
(If someone were to theoretically snap my neck) "Oh, grow a backbone yourself."
Then I just laugh and die. XD

Some of these have been used, others not so much. Snapping people's neck is not part of LARP because you're not using a foam weapon to hit someone. So no one does that.
I still have puns ready in case someone DOES... XD
I might also tell them, "thanks, it always was a bit stiff."

I realize I forgot to put the Undertale friendship bracelet activities on the post though. So here they are.

Friendship Bracelet Activity:
Think of some of your friends (or other people close to you). What 2-5 colors would you include in their friendship bracelet?

My date: Green (Kindness), light blue (Patience), white (A Monster Soul)
My dad: Light blue (Patience), dark blue (Integrity), white (A Monster Soul)

It's funny because my date, in terms of actual Undertale souls, is TOTALLY a Kindness/Patience. XD

Another Activity:
Someone made you a friendship bracelet! Which colors/souls on your bracelet would make you most happy?
And are there any that might make you surprised?

Me, I'd be super flattered if the bracelet had orange, yellow, or light blue (although I'm not Patience) on it. I'm very physically protective of my friends, doing things like... always walking on the most exposed side of the street, getting in between whenever somebody is being threatening to my friend, etc. It makes me happy when others feel it's safe to depend on me. :)
I'd be surprised if they put green in the bracelet they gave me! I can be a bit rough around the edges, more known for other things than straight up lovin kindness... My brand of morality lines up more with Justice than Kindness. ^_^;

aaa the friendship bracelet thing is so cool?? i made a bunch for my friends for valentine's day this year, but i didn't even think of undertale colors!!!! i dont remember all the colors i used but for my best friend i used light blue, green, and white (and i made myself a matching one bc im a sap lmao) but it really fits bc he's always been there for me since i met him, he's legitimately the nicest person i know-he's always kind to everyone, and he's helped me overcome so much of my anxiety and fear about... pretty much everything haha.
also @undyne urs is so pretty? mine's literally just braided yarn ://

the one that would fit my best friend most are probably orange, purple, light blue, and green, but a) i have no idea how i'd work four colors into a braid and b) i don't even have any orange yarn so?? lmao

Apparently I resemble a much taller Frisk- I'm Asian so I have the almond shaped eyes, honey colored skin and dark hair.

Thank you! That bracelet was not actually made by me though, I just searched online until I found a "licensed for reuse" and then found a different size of the image. I'm flattered though. XD

The time I made a bracelet for my friend, I used orange, yellow and pink. In the context of the (non-Undertale) class, it represented fun, optimism, and kindness.
But if I apply the Undertale bracelet colors, it's a much different story. XD

@muff hate to disappoint but... turns out comicpalooza is a no :C my dad already had other plans for the weekend. however! we're probably going to dallas fan days in october, which a) is much closer to home and b) gives me more time to work on a costume!!!! (tom holland's not going to be there, but you win some, you lose some.)

i think i might go with the frisk!! i have the right haircut for it, and i should be allowed to bring a stick in, haha. i might even be able to get a locket!!
