appearance;; Hawthorne is very tall, muscular guy- he's pretty imposing looking, especially when he's angry. He's very toned and bulky from military training and having a very health conscious lifestyle. Eating healthy foods, keeping in shape, and having good habits like getting enough sleep have helped to keep him very good-looking. (Though, the fact that he walks around with a constant, disapproving frown makes him just a little less attractive.) His raven black hair is neatly kept; it's shaved on the sides and longer on top. His eyes are a dark emerald green and he sometimes wears a black plastic framed glasses.
personality;; Personality: Hawthorn's large stature and confident attitude commands respect- he's a powerful guy and he's not afraid to show it. Hawthorne is a no-nonsense type of guy; he doesn't tolerate disrespect, laziness or anyone who he sees as a bully. He demands nothing but respect from his students but he isn't a tyrant or unkind. In fact, Hawthorne is very kind to his students and he'd very protective of them. Despite his brooding, slightly grumpy appearance, he is really a kind-hearted guy. If he sees someone in trouble or being bullied, he won't hesitate to step in, no matter who they are. He is very warm and fiercely loyal to the people he cares about, but he can be just as harsh and cold to the people he doesn't like.
Extra: Before he became a teacher, he was a Marine captain for several years. Hawthorne is an extreme perfectionist and super health conscious. He really loves pretty much any type of exercise, though sword fighting is his favorite sport. You'll never see him eating junk food nor any meat. He's a strict vegetarian, though he does eat milk and eggs. He LOVES collecting old weapons and historical fighting techniques.
