"S-sure..." she said quietly, "T-that'd be nice." Alessa got out of bed and straightened up her quilt before grabbing Scarlett. She looked outside for a moment, then flicked her tail. "Y-you're okay with me g-going out like... well, like this?" she asked quietly, "M-my mother s-said she didn't let me g-go out because I'd embarrass her."

"Okay, I'll try to find something." said Alessa quietly. She looked through her dresser and the closet to find a dress she liked. She found a blue gingham dress and changed into it. Alessa carried Scarlett to the living room, but didn't enter it. "I-I'm ready to go..." she said quietly.

"Alright." He got up from the sofa and brought her outside. The storm was still on top of them, but the thunder and lightning had stopped. Carter could see the sun struggling to break free from the clouds and the rain was lighter. It was coming near an end.

Alessa frowned as it was still raining; albeit not pouring, but raining nonetheless. Alessa stayed under the safety of the porch. "C-could we go w-when it stops raining?" she whispered, "I-I don't... like the rain, very much." Alessa wasn't afraid of water, but she didn't like the rain because her coat would get wet and dry funny; then it would be easy to see her burn scars.

Alessa quietly gulped when Carter said 'kill'. She was still a bit emotional over the accident, but she didn't let herself cry. "D-dolls?" she echoed, tilting her head some. Alessa looked down to Scarlett for a moment; Scarlett was the only doll she had.

"Oh, r-right." said Alessa quietly, "I mean, I didn't think you had dolls. Scarlett is my only doll." She hugged the stuffed dog, then moved towards the door. She felt it was safer if she wasn't so close to the fireplace.
