I personally value a TD BMD at a sorbet, and a rerelease BA at 2 sorbs. Therefor, I think they are overpaying with the balloon dog. But it really depends on where you value the BMD and BA.

Rarity wise, it's unfair to them. Their store pet is worth a mid 2009 rare, and your pet is only a 2011. With demand, it usually goes for a low-mid advent list.

i personally wouldn't accept that. as you said, rats don't have good demand, and you aren't likely to get very far with a list rat (in my experience, mine were almost impossible to trade off). that's why they're offering it for that kind of underpay--they probably can't get anything near fair for it.
you'd be better off trading up your blood dogs individually, or trading the 2 mid advents up to the september list.

It's pretty fair if not slight overpay on the other side.
Their side is worth roughly 8 '09 rares + 2 '14 rares. (Valuing the sitting cat at a '09 rare.)
Your side is worth 7-8 '09 rares.
