"oh, okay. Well, as you should know, yesterday was my first day" she said to Danny, looking into his eyes. She got butterflies in her tummy when she did, and fought to keep from sighing.

"Oh, ok cool" Danny said unable to hold eye contact when he realized how pretty her eyes were.

"yeah...I think this is the fifth boarding school I've been to. So far its one of the best, in my opinion. But I haven't been able to see the track yet. I kinda like to run." She blushed at how stupid that sounded. But it was the truth.

"I'm more of a football kind of guy" Danny said with a honest smile.

"Now, one question. What kind of football guy are you? Are you one of those insensitive jocks that only want the cheerleader girls cuz they're pretty and will do almost anything? Or are you the football player that is sensitive and cares about his friends and relationship...the one that isn't a fake?" She put her hands over her mouth, her eyes wide. She didn't mean to let that slip out. She was always so good at keeping her real opinion hidden. Never in a million years would she had asked someone else that. She muttered "ooops....." and blushed even harder, her cheeks turning red.

Danny's eyes widened at the question, "Im a sensitive person with a great sense of humor that does football for the fun of it."

"jeesh, I don't know what got into me then. I'm so sorry!" Aubri frowned at herself, and then said, "well that's good. ill probably get along better with you now that I know that" and then whispered to herself, 'he has the exact personality I've been looking for'
