"She saved me" Griffin informed Alessa. She too didnt really trust her because she was with the hunters.

Rustling erupted in the bushes behind Alessa and Griffin "Hello shifters. " The familiar stern voice laughed. Griffin shifted to the cheetah, hissing at the bush.

Alessa

"She must have led them here," she hissed to Griffin. She shifted into her wolf form, stand up. Her ears flattened against her skull and she growled, baring her teeth.

The woman grinned and ran off. Griffin hissed. "She tried to distract us. She freed me to try and earn my trust. Glad i didnt trust her with your wound. " She mewed, turning back to the man and the hunter. She leaped up at the man, slashing her claws at his face. Blood welled up, but he wiped it away.

Alessa

Alessa darted forward and bit the man's leg. She was snarling, trying to fight him.

Griffin bit his leg, but he shook it around, flinging her at the tree. It knocked the breath out of her. She winced, not breathing as much.

Alessa

Alessa limped over to Griffin, worried that she had stopped breathing. She licked her face, trying to get her to react and show that she was alive. She ignored the hunters now, too worried about her friend.

Griffin gasped, taking in more air. She tried to stand up, her back hurting. "We cant fight.. We need to run. " Griffin's blue eyes shivered. She struggled to stay standing. "We cant be captured again. " Griffin took in more air. She then kept gaping for more, struggling to keep it in. Her lungs seemed to burn and her back felt horrible. She hissed in pain, but tried not to show that she was really injured.

Alessa

Alessa was relieved that Griffin was alive, but still worried. She could see how much pain she was in. "Why fight? They're just going to beat us. Why run? They're just going to find us again. There's no point," she whispered, lying down beside Griffin. She guarded her protectively, watching the hunters come up to them.

"Are you saying to give up on everything? " Griffin let out a sigh. She began to breath faster, her side beginning to hurt. "I cant do anything! " She stepped closer to Alessa who stood defensively. Griffin's paw slipped and she fell down on the trees roots.

Alessa held Griffin stand up, but she didn't do anything but prop her up. She didn't even growl at the hunters anymore. She just stood there, staring at nothing.
