His grey eyes flashed as he caught site of another person simply watching, slowly making his way through the crowd. Hello, Sending the message softly to her. Keeping his eyes towards the performer, not making any motion to let her know it was his deep voice invading her mind. Avery let a soft smile creep onto his lips, enjoying his time out. He reached one of his leather gloved hands up and pulled the front of his hat further down onto his handsome face, hiding it as he casually moved within a couple feet of her {Felicity}

Felicity jerked her head around, her eyes showing a distinct fear. She was suddenly startled by a deep Hello that entered her thoughts so abruptly. Even though a 'hello' wasn't anything to be afraid of, but the fact that it wasn't herself thinking. What was that?! Great, now I'm going crazy in the middle of an area filled with people who hate freaks! She thought. She scanned the crowd, making sure no one had seen her basic flip-out, it seemed no one had. Thank god for the performers!

She looked back around for whatever had 'sent' her the message, her eyes rolling onto a man{Avery} who had appeared out of no where and was suddenly so close to her. She couldn't help but stare at him for a moment, studying him as he pulled his hat over his face. Who is he? she thought. She then caught herself and turned away quickly, not saying anything. She was simply scared of what would happen if she had, even a simple hi would have drawn attention to her and she couldn't risk being caught.

Thomas tipped his head to the side, watching the girl curiously. She had sat down on a bench and buried her head in her arm. Was she...crying? He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, and a small patch of his coal-colored hair turned a dull green. Thomas cast a quick look at his fingers. Most of the green was gone now, remaining only as a faint stain on his fingertips. He returned his gaze to the girl. Don't cry. Please. He swallowed nerviously as he stepped up to her. Thomas bent down in front of her and fished the hankerchief he always kept out of his pocket, offering it to her. "Hey. Please don't cry."

He laughed, a silent chuckle. Avery pulled out his gloved hands, slowly removing the gloves. Turning to the girl, Hello, I am Avery. And you? Lifting his blond eyebrows in a provocative way. He moved his right hand out, waiting for her hand to reach his. A teasing smile lifted on his face, Avery was a shy young man, but at the age of nineteen he still had a playful, immature side in him. He shifted his weight from his toes to rock back onto his heels, leaning away from her, letting his eyes dart back to watch the performer, but only for a moment before returning his grey eyes to her face.
