Storytime, Dargon fans! As you know, I pull a lot of inspiration from wacky national holidays. They've given us fan favorites like the siamese- based Darg and the Stormtrooper Dargon!

So, as per the usual, I looked up holidays and recognition days for 5/18. One of the first that popped up was "World Endangered Species Day". And that got me thinking. There are a TON of species that are not in the green when it comes to conservation status. Some are just being monitored, but some could cease to exist any day now.

So this event is in honor of those species that, for one reason or another, are struggling. Each of the Dargons made for this event will look like an endangered or vulnerable species. I'll post the species name and conservation status on each adopt page.

The backgrounds will also be special for these adopts. They will be the "conservation status" color assigned to the species by the IUNC.

~According to the WWF, the Giant Panda is now only vulnerable!
~Arctic foxes, Arctic wolves, and brown bears are all listed as Least Concern
