Username: iRabid
Character Name: Paris
Character Nickname: none
Age: 6 months (in real life, she's about 2 months)
Gender: Female
Breed: Pure Breed Shih-Tzu
Rank: Loner
Appearance: (no current pic) Pure black with brown eyes and a green collar with purple squares on it. She has a small white marking on her chest.
Personality: Paris is full of energy and definatly still a pup. She doesn't believe that the humans are gone, just on vacation that they will return from. She's naive and easily distracted. She isn't trained for anything and tends to do her own thing with out caring what others think.
History: Paris grew up in a typical Shih-Tzu kennel and quickly trusted the humans. When the humans dissappeared for over a week, the kennel dogs started to get worried about what would happen to them. One of the dogs that tended to think negatively started saying they would die from starvation. Not knowing what that was, Paris thought it was a good thing that was outside the kennel so she managed to wiggle her small body out of the cage bars to see what was outside. All the dogs inside the kennel told her no, but Paris was curious about the world outside the kennel. Everything seemed fine, just a lack of humans. As she romped out of the yard, the small black pup soon started the event of survival.
Mate: None
Crush: None
Pups: Paris is one.
Picture: Sadly, she is my real life dog and I don't have any current pictures of her at the moment. Pure black with brown eyes and a green collar with purple squares on it. She has a small white marking on her chest.

(thanks, I've been looking for something like this)

Paris
Paris sniffed around the shrubs and bushes of the yard to the house across the street from the Shih-Tzu kennel. They smelled kind of funny to the small black puppy but then again, everything smelled funny to Paris since she had never left the kennel. Just crossing the yard to the gate swinging open seemed like an adventure. Paris kept nosing around the streets and she heard a rumbling sound. The pup's head shot up and she looked around, ready to bolt if there was any danger but then something caught her attention out of the corner of her eyes. A purple tulip across the street. Completely forgetting about the rumbling she had heard, Paris scampered over to the flower and started sniffing it. Another rumble. What is that sound? the Shih-Tzu wondered as she looked around, nervously. An interesting scent drifted past the pup's nose and she looked around for the source. Not seeing anything in the direct area of the scent she looked around for her house to go back to the kennel. Where's the house? Paris wondered as she looked at all the houses. They looked the same and she couldn't make out which house was hers. Great, now I'm lost. The small pup yawned and saw a small brown thing the size of a shoe box. As Paris got closer and sniffed around, she found it was a shoe box. I'll just stay here until my owner comes looking for me. Paris looked at the rising sun and realized she had been out all night. No sleep. Mommy always said sleep was essential for a puppy like me. Paris yawned again and looked around for any other dogs that could provide her with a safer place to sleep other than a shoe box.

Ram finishes his breakfast, leaving nothing but a pile of plucked fur. He licks his lips and wipes his face off with his paws and then stretches his hind quarters, considering what to do next. Serena still has not come back from her hermitage and Ram doesn't feel like disturbing her just yet, after all, it would just make her cranky. And Serena is cranky enough as it is, without me helping her. He thinks with a smirk and begins to wander, letting his nose lead him here and there to whatever might be interesting today.

He picks up the scent of another dog's mark, and stubbornly marks back. Oh really, you think this is yours? I don't think so. It's my packs. Ram follows the same routine several times, marking pretty much anything that even faintly smells like another dog has been there and thatching up the grass where it is soft still, sending a flurry of brown blades up behind him. It is just then that he catches sight of a black tail disappearing into a shoe box. Humm, what's that? He thinks, Maybe another cat? Amusement bubbles in him and he goes to investigate. I ate already, but they are still fun to chase... And I'm sure someone else is hungry back with the rest of the pack. Ram trots over to it, true to his sighthound nature, not even bothering with stealth, he is confidant he will catch whatever it is if it is foolish enough to run.

Paris smelled another creature close to the cardboard shoe box she was curling up in. The black pup hadn't smelled other dogs than Shih-Tzus so the creature outside could be a cat for all she knew. She barked and stood on the edge of the box looking around for another dog nearby but all she saw were four posts that weren't there when she had went into the box. Paris jumped out of the box and started wiggling her furry body around the posts. Furry posts, I've never felt those before. The young pup rubbed around the posts similar to the way a cat would rub around a humans ankles to get their attention. After doing this three or four times around each ankle, Paris grinned and looked up to see the sky but instead, saw the head of a bigger dog. As the pup continued looking at the dog, her grin slowly shifted into a frown on her face. Looking at her face, you couldn't really tell it was her face, considering it was pure black and it was all furry, you could only really tell if Paris had her toungue out, panting.

Ram stares down and the fluffy thing between his paws. What the heck is this? He blinks at it, his ears perked they stand out on either side of his head like little flags. It kind of looks like food. I mean, it's small enough... But it smells like a dog. Do dogs really come this small? Having grown up with other racers and never having seen another breed, it was hard enough for Ram to believe that Serena, as big and strong as she was, was also a dog. Now this thing has him completely puzzled. He lays down into a squatting position, rather like a sphinx, his long legs keeping his body from touching the chilly ground. His tail flips back and forth behind him for a moment as he studies the creature, Well, it didn't run, so I guess there is no point in chasing it at this point... And it seems friendly enough. Finally he speaks to it, "Umm... Hello? Wha... Er, who are you?" He says, entertained for the moment and not thinking about the rest of his pack.

Paris watched the thing above her momentarily. Run, come on legs, why don't you move? The black pup yipped a little as to encourage her legs to move, get away from this creature on posts. It looks similar to a dog but dogs don't get that big. I think Paris backed up a couple pawsteps when the dog/creature/thing started laying down. When it was down, there was still about enough room for the little black pup to easily walk under it's stomach. When she looked at it's face again, Paris decided it was somekind of really big dog or a really big giant that came from one of those really far away places the kennel dogs always spoke of. Paris started sniffing the leg of the dog-giant from toenail to elbow when the dog started talking. I wonder who the giant is talking to? The black pup looked around to see who the dog-giant was possibly talking to. I don't see anyone, I guess he's talking to me! "Hello. I'm Paris." the black Shih-Tzu said in a really yippy excited tone, she started wiggling around again.

Ram snorts out a bit of a laugh, amused at the little dogs yippy voice. When it comes close enough, he puts his needle nose down into it's fur and sniffs it. Yep definitely some kind of dog... But look at all that fur! How can it even walk without tripping on it, let alone run? He thinks, nudging it with his snout. "Hello Paris, my name is Ram!" He chirrups back, clicking his teeth playfully in his excitement. "What are you looking for in that box?" He asks finally, still curious enough to be interested in talking.

Paris yelped a bit when the giant dog shoved his nose in her thick black fur coat although, after a while, it felt kinda good. Cold nose against a warm coat on a hot day, it feels so good. Sometimes having a pure black coat was a horror, especially when it was really hot outside. The giant dog's cold nose felt good against her warm skin. "I wasn't looking for anything in the box although it smells like shoes." she said yipping. After Paris got a good look at his teeth when he clicked them, the pup backed up a bit, it looked like he could easily chew her like a raw hide.

"Shoes?" Ram says, his head tilting slightly to the side. He remembers the sneakers that the trainers and other dog handlers used to wear, but he never really thought about sniffing them before. Curious, he craws forward a step and sticks his nose in the box to sniff the strange rubbery scent.

His nose promptly knocks it over and pulls his head up with a jerk, ears up he stares at it for a moment, waiting to see if it will do anything else. When nothing happens, he looses interest and his ears fold back to the side of his head and he looks back to the little black dog named Paris. "I guess if that is what shoes smell like..." He says then looks up at the sky, the sun has lifted fully above the horizon and the shadows are starting to shorten. I wonder if Serena is done pouting yet? He thinks and stands up. "Well Paris, shoe boxes are fun but I should go back to my pack. I bet they are waking up now." Ram says and turns to trot back the way he came. I bet she would like to know about this talking fluff ball.
