x softpaw nodded, giving jayfrost a once-over before exiting the medicine den, smirking as he passed shadestorm. only two things will end up happening with the two grumpy cats together in one den - total chaos or total chaos. his smirk disappeared as the strange scent of rogue washed over him and, starclan save him, the scent of infected wounds. his gaze landed on splashspots, swifttooth, and a smaller tom-kit who he hadn't met before. they both were injured and fatigued. oh, starclan! what else do you want us to do? pad over to the fresh-kill pile and resurrect all of our prey? he snorted, padding up to splashspots with a sigh.

Silverpaw came to a halt and turned around when the sound of Jasperpaw's paws splashing in the water stopped. On the other side of the beach a hostile loner was taunting the tom. She sprinted towards the two cats, the powerful muscles under her pelt rippled as she ran. The agile apprentice came to stand beside Jasperpaw. Their mentors weren't far off and the thought of running to get them passed her mind but she wasn't going to Jasperpaw without backup. She decided to approach the loner calmly and hoped to settle to conflict with everyone's claws sheathed. "Why do you find yourself straying into OceanClan territory?" she meowed warily, "Have you lost your way?" Silverpaw wasn't sure how the she-cat was going to react, after being provoked by Jasperpaw nor what she was capable. The apprentice sized her up with narrowed eyes, weighing up the odds of her surviving a fight.
