Bluestone smiled at Brambleclaw softly- "It isn't as awful as it seems. Being assigned mates adds another layer of devotion to eachother. You can argue and get in a spat but if you're assigned there's hardly any way for your mate to decide to leave you or not try and work things out." She offered softly- though her face carried an expression of realization. She and Otterstar hadn't been as close as they once were, after Bluestone's parents had passed she pulled away from him. It was a grave mistake, she could feel that it wounded their relationship but she was stuck in a selfish haze of mourn and grief for her parents. It was only recently that Bluestone had seemed to be back to her former self instead of the callous shell she was for several weeks.
At the conversation of mates the queen sat up and cast her gaze around the camp before it settled on Otterstar. Despite the fact they weren't on the best of terms the tom still managed to make her heart flutter just the tiniest bit. She waved her tail to the tom- letting out a throaty purr.

Ambergaze was nearly about to pad forward before he paused, perhaps Cindersong and her apprentice Sunshinepaw would like to accompany he and Ravenpaw? It would be a nice opportunity for Cindersong's apprentice to hone some agility skills and perhaps even learn new material. "One moment Ravenpaw, I think we could use some company." He added and trotted towards his assigned mate and her apprentice with a soft smile. Despite the fact Ambergaze and Cindersong were assigned mates due to the death of Petalnose he found Cindersong a source of comfort and openly enjoyed her company. While Ambergaze still had his own issues to work out regarding his prolonged grief over his deceased mate it was reassuring to know that Cindersong was by his side for the most part.
He padded towards them, giving both of the molly's a respectful dip of his head, curling his tail to and fro. "Ravenpaw and I were just about to head out towards the southern part of the territory for some agility training. I thought it would be nice if you two wanted to accompany us." He offered with a soft smile, the tom's black pelt seemed to shimmer in the dim light that the cloudy skies had to offer that day.

Inkeri was nearly about to take a swift bite from her meal before she eyed her fellow medicine cat, Gorsehawk. Inkeri was more of a cryptic and introverted feline- she was almost sure that no one in the clan knew of her estranged kits from her rogue life and she liked it that way. Her business was her business and it ought to stay that way. Still though the struggle remained that she ought to try and make allies within the clan, she wasn't oblivious to the fact that clan life was just as much of a social game as it was a trading game of sorts. Inkeri thus far had traded with the clan, they offer her food, a place to sleep, and protection and she offered them many moons of herbal medicine. The pudgy molly pulled herself to her paws, padding over to Gorsehawk with some fashion of a friendly smile, again she was never the social type but it was clear she was making an effort. She sat down and set the plump vole before her, looking up towards Gorsehawk with her ears perked. She leaned down and nudged the vole towards the molly, "Share?" She muttered out- Inkeri was a feline of few words unless absolutely necessary, for example when teaching herbs or instructing her patients.
