Perhaps it wasn't the best idea to store the two headed anole that she had found into an empty plastic cup with nothing but her hand to keep it from escaping. It wasn't her fault that she didn't have a proper reptilian tank to pull out of her pocket. That didn't stop her from scooping up the mutated anole from the school's court yard. However, the girl should have know she would have lost the amazing creature, which she had decided to name Janus. That was beside the point though. The point was that she was making a huge fool of herself. Angelica was dashing through the hallway, following the squeals of other students as the little creature wiggled under their feet. Her dress sure wasn't making it any easier. With it being too long, Angel had to hold a fistful of it in order to make sure she didn't trip.
"Sorry! Excuse me! Coming through!" She pushed through her fellow students until she found herself inside the girls bathroom, staring at Janus who had got themselves cornered. Behind her, there were several girls shouting suggestions about what to do with the anole. "
Stomp on it!" "
Flush it down the toilet!" "
"Ew! It's an abomination!" "
A monster!" Angel ignored all the nasty comments and slowly approached the reptile, gently picking it up. A few disgusted squeals were made when she did so, but she yet again ignored them. "
Janus is not an abomination. They're just a bit unique is all." Angel looked at the see of disapproving faces. A small frown appeared on Angelica's lips, but it quickly was replaced with a determined smile. She disregarded the others and walked out of the bathroom, stopping by a nearby clock. "
I have plenty of time before I have to hightail it to Poise and Manners class. Hmmm... I guess I should stop by my locker first. Maybe there will be a more adequate carrier for you, Janus!" Not wasting another moment, Angel skipped to her locker, though it was only a few seconds before she slowed down to a walk. She would look rather foolish skipping. That was no way to behave. After approaching her locker, the girl mutters the code to herself and opened it up. Inside was an embarrassing mess. Papers were stuffed into the back and it looked like her notebooks and binders had just been thrown in there, which they probably had. Sighing, Angelica placed Janus on the little shelf near the top of her locker. "
You're gonna have to wait here, friend. I have classes before Science. If you get hungry, just search around. I'm sure there is old food hidden some where in here." Janus just stared into space. Sighing, Angel shook her head, but smiled. "
Just... don't go anywhere." Closing her locker, she glanced at the clock. She still had a little more time.
