[Symphonia]

The leader dashed through the forest, her paw pads only leaving a small train of sounds in the world around her because of her franticness. The only concern Pepperstar had at the moment was finding out what happened. She smelled the air as she ran, but it was no use; the scent of blood was overwhelming her senses. She could tell that another cat was near, but she couldn't figure out who.
Eventually, the smell became stronger and stronger, but she pushed forward, and saw a familiar clan mate beside an unconscious. Her pelt bristled. "Crowflight, what happened here?" She demanded, emerging from the shadows, fury towards the badger burning in her eyes.

Nightshade froze in shock. "No! No I didn't! Your clan was fine when I left" She hissed in Ravenwing's ear.

Ravenwings snarled in fury. "After you left with Dirtclaw a disease ran though the camp! Riverpaw couldn't stop it and it killed the clan. I am last survivor" She finally managed to wiggle free and she lashed out, her eyes ripping across Nightshade's face. "You killed them all! She roared. Nightshade leaped to meet the attack and they fought viciously, screeching in anger and they both tried to kill each other.


Sientpaw skidded to a stop in the camp, her sides heaving as she looked around.

Crowflight looked up when she saw PepperStar emerge from the bushes. "When me, Wolffang and Hollyfur sent the apprentices off to hunt, Foxpaw ran into a badger, when me and Hollyfur went to help, it hurt Hollyfur pretty badly, then Sunpaw tried to get the badger away from the camp, when I told her not to, she would have hurt herself, she hadn't had any battle training yet and would just get hurt. So I had to chasse after Sunpaw and the badger, after the badger was nocked unconcious, Sunpaw too, fell unconious, Marshpaw and Silversong took her back to camp. But Hollyfur is still in the clearing, I couldn't go and see her though, I had to whatch the badger and make sure it didn't wake up. But I dont think we should kill it, inless it is completely nessisary, the badger may be of a use to us." Crowflight summerized for PepperStar. When she finished she jumped off of the rock she was sitting on and walking over to where the badger lay.

When Sunpaw had regained her senses almost fully, they had reached the camp. She was still gasping for air and shaking uncontrollably, but she was alive, and, as she had already decided before, there was no chance she was going without a fight, where as then it had been fighting the badger, a battle she knew she couldn't win and survive, but now in the fight for survival, could she? Or was it as hopeless as fighting a badger? But I have to try. She thought determinedly. I can't leave all of my friends and family until I know I've done everything I can to try and prevent it.

Foxpaw walked over to Crowflight. "I can watch the badger, if you want me too. Then you can go see Hollyfur." she said quietly, still eyeing the badger.

Silentpaw saw as they brought in Sunpaw. She squeaked in surprise and ran over, gently nosing her cheek. She meowed, hoping Sunpaw could hear her. Please don't give up, Silentpaw begged with her heart.

Crowflight looked at the apprentice uncertainly, she didn't want another cat to be hurt, and she knew that if the badger woke up Foxpaw wouldn't have a chance agains't it, but she very much wanted to see if Hollyfur was alright. She looked at PepperStar uncertainly.

A certain coldness reached Pepperstar's eyes. She hated badgers with all of her hate. Slowly, she shook her head. "Badgers cannot be trusted, unconscious or not. It will wake up, and try to kill the first thing that it sees. I know that you want to think that the badger can help us, but it can't. We just have to face it; it's a stupid badger. The only thoughts in its mind are: kill, kill, kill. That's all that it cares about. It would be best to kill it now while it cannot hurt us; we don't know how long it'll be staying like this." She meowed grimly, giving her clan mates a look that dared them to argue.

"It wasn't thinking that!" Foxpaw hissed. She couldn't beleive Pepperstar was thinking this. I heard what the badger was saying!! was what she wanted to say, but she didn't dare say anymore.

Crowflight nodded respectfully to PepperStar. She hated badgers just as much as she did and more then anything, she wanted to make it suffer like her clanmates and familly suffered but she had a feeling that there were more then just these two badgers around, and maybe this badger knew where they were. If only we could figure out some way to speak to it... Crowflight shook the thoughts from her head. Are you a mousebrain? It's a badger for crying out loud! PepperStar is probobly right, we should just kill it. "So who is going to kill it?" Crowflight asked PepperStar.
