are.' cheerful and reckless; a true delinquent in the eye
s of her high school authorities, calypso or, cal for short,
is an eighteen year old who was born and raised in salin
as, california. at the age of seven, cal's mother passed a
way and was left to the care of her father. soon after ca
l's thirteenth birthday, her father was offered a job in v
enice as a head chef in a new restaurant, and so they to
ok the trip to their new home. cal quickly acquainted he
rself with the local police, as it wasn't uncommon for he
r to be taken out of school in handcuffs. cal managed to
make it her entire high school career without charges. h
er fights were never over petty dramas, either; they wer
e usually in the defense of an underdog. now, 18, cal pla
ns to go to school to study fire science and basic medicine.

usually spotted somewhere near the oceans shore, kalani is sometime
s seen as some sort of gem. shes known for havin the brightest smile
in the room, & a contagious laugh. people like kalani because shes ins
piring - she pushes people to do their best, & is always supporting he
r friends. being a full-time surfing competitor has taught lani that har
dwork pays off, & that her determination is everything. kalani was bor
n an only child & grew up on the hawaiian islands. her father,who was
a police chief, taught her everything in life. from the start of a young
age, small kalani was constantly at the ocean. whether it be dipping h
er feet in the shoreline, taking a swim, or searching for sea creatures
- she loved it. it wasn't until she was about eight when she got her ha
nds on a surf board. lani was a natural-born surfer, & she isn't afraid
to show it. although, when she was about fifteen her & her parents m
ade the huge move to california. her father was offered the position o
f leading a task force in los angeles - an offer he couldn't turn down.
luckily, they moved into a beach house so that kalani could always be
near the sea. fortunately, lani didn't have too much of a tough time in
high school. friends saw her a very trustworthy person, but also quite
blunt with her words. if you wished for the brutal honest answer - she
s the go-to person. for the most part, kalani has a true heart-of-gold
& is always displaying positive vibes. though, don't let that make you
underestimate the girl.if need be, lani isnt afraid to defend herself wh
ether it's by words or her fists. having a sharp tongue, kalani doesnt h
esitate to tell somebody off. kalani doesnt really let anybody tell her w
hat to do, she lives by her own set of rules. although, she does to ten
d to get over-protective & easily attached. kalani has a habit of being
over emotional in a lot of situations, sometimes even dramatic. she ha
s the gift of fast-thinking, but the curse of over-thinking later afterwa
rds. lani is quite intelligent, mainly book smart but also a lil street sma
rt. shes able to get out of sticky situations quickly if needed. despite h
er friendly persona, kalani also has another side where she can be crud
e. having a short temperament has often landed her in difficult situatio
ns. not to mention, lani is extremely stubborn & but also very daring.
