Unfortunately I wasn’t able to go out hunting much today, but I did end up getting my first charizard! I leveled him up within the event time too, so I got to get the community day-exclusive move!

Are you doing the quest for mew? I had a longer time too, but I did end up getting one after I looked at a chart on google. Only a few specific common Pokemon can end up being dittos, so if you haven’t checked that out yet, I’d recommend it!

This ditto talk reminds me of when I last visited my mom. I got her into Pokemon Go about a month ago and we were out walking in her neighborhood catching Pokemon together. At some point she was freaking out like "what's happening?!?" and I look over at her screen and see the Ditto transformation animation. I tell her that whatever she just caught was actually a Ditto in disguise, and she was disappointed! She really wanted the Pidgey.

Omg haha that would be freaky if you didn’t know what was happening! I remember I got my first ditto from a Christmas pikachu- it was really good since I had seen a ditto in a gym and wanted one, but that also meant that I didn’t get the event pikachu. I ended up getting plenty after though, so it’s all good!

I hope your mom catches some more pidgeys to make up for it lol
