Is this fair at all? The user told me the pet on their side is a sunback, and I heard that sunbacks are list pets, if I remember correctly.

No, that is NOT the list pet that is a second generation pet and it is not worth what they are trying to get. They are trying to scam you.

their side adds up to 17 '09 rares, your side adds up to roughly 14 '09 rares.
seems fine to me considering it's not always that easy to trade onto the list

Trade #1:
The gap between the red and blue toxic is a balloon dog + a red x PPS (31 mid advents)
Your side adds up to around 15 mid advents.
It's overpay on their side rarity wise, demand varies from player to player so it's up to you to decide how you value each pet.

Trade #2:
Your side is worth around 13 09R and their side is worth 14-17 09R (I personally always use the lowest value for lists so for me their pets add up to 14 09R)
Both lists and store pets are hard to get, it's up to you to decide which one you like better and how you value the pets on each side
