What breeds are they?
I know some breeds just tend to be more high strung and flighty.

Hey y’all, so update on my post two pages back. I was able to successfully bond my two bunnies together. Overall it took a month, but i missed a lot of bonding sessions and put it off for a bit, so it would’ve been quicker. They never fought, just the typical territorial behaviors. I was nervous letting spend the first night together, but everything went smoothly. It’s so cute observing their behavior when they have a partner as opposed to being solitary.

Just thought I’d share :)

I have a Giant Checkered Rabbit. She absolutely loves to be pet and I even give her kisses on the head and such. However, she H A T E S being picked up. She'll squirm and dart away so I've stopped trying to handle her unless I really need to. I don't want to hurt her in the process of attempting to pick her up. She's only a little over a year. Will this eventually stop? Or will I need to work with her to start letting me pick her up?

Rabbits are prey animals and they’re used to being on the ground, so when they’re lifted up it can be quite terrifying for them. Some do learn to tolerate it better than others, but they will never enjoy it.
If you want to try and help her get used to being handed maybe try sitting on the ground and encourage her with treats to sit on your lap. Don’t grab and lift her off the ground unless you really have to. I also recommend a towel if you don’t want to get scratched Each rabbit is different, but try to build up a trust with her and see what works for you (;

I can't get a good picture of banjo because he just wants me to play with him,,
I have a question though;; Banjo doesn't seem to like the litter I'm putting in his litter box. I use pine pellets that go in horse stalls because it's cheap and comes in bulk;; But what do you all use? I don't know what he doesn't like about it though.

      Be very careful with pine. It can be harmful if not properly kiln dried and can be quite dusty.
      Personally, I use yesterday's news for my rats. It's a simple cat paper bedding that isn't dusty and isn't harmful to them.

      Yesterday's news is paper pellets, not shredded or used paper, so it doesn't stain C:
