Shadestorm stared at Jayfrost, mouth slightly open as she took in his appearance. "Well, look who's back," she meowed flatly. "What did you do, throw yourself off a cliff? Softpaw, you've done a lot today and you've done great, but can you please help me with this? Grab some cobwebs and stop the bleeding, okay?" She turned away, hiding her weariness from the rest of them. If you're getting tired, then think of what Softpaw might be feeling, she chided herself, before grabbing herbs to make a poultice, reciting the names in her head as she picked them up.

Jasperpaw frowned when Silverpaw didn't respond and looked down at his feet. He followed Silverpaw and watched his feet move; right, left, right, left and on and on and on. Soon he felt the sand grow damper beneath his feet and looked up- just as Silverpaw flicked the salty water into his pelt. "Hey!" he meowed in surprise, snapping upright. "What was that for?" he grumbled, not sure if the apprentice was just playing a joke or not. Jasperpaw lashed his tail and reared onto his hind legs, flicking water back at Silverpaw. Grinning triumphantly, he let out a small laugh before the waves knocked him off his feet. He fell face first into the water, and came back up wet and spitting.

the tom flicked his ears as he sat down in a corner of camp. the rays of sunlight warmed his pelt, and he eventually began to sunbathe, ignoring whatever was happening around him.

the lithe she-cat walked almost completely silently within the clan’s territory, alert for any sounds of nearby prey or enemies. stopping, she pricked her ears forward and listened. hearing the sound of a mouse, she dropped into a hunters crouch, waiting for her prey to come into view. soon enough, an unknowing mouse scurried almost right beneath her, and she reached out with a paw, grabbing the creature before simply killing it. satisfied, she looked around, being sure no cat was around. after realizing she was completely alone, she bent her head down and ate her kill, being sure to leave no trace of blood or bones near.

Silverpaw laughed out loud as Jasperpaw's feet were knocked from under him. Her pelt was damp but his was soaking. "Catch me if you can!" she challenged, setting off full pelt down the beach, cheekily looking back and giving him a wink. The small apprentice wasn't sure if she'd be able to beat the tom in a race but the uncertainty seemed to make the whole situation more fun. Her paws splashed the sand as she looked back at a disorientated Jasperpaw.

As she watched the clan cat stumble off, she knew they had to make a camp far away from the aggressive band of cats. They would take the other beach that she had found, She headed off though the bushes making sure that Gray wouldn't hear them.

"I know you didn't throw yourself off a cliff! Did you think I was being serious?" Shadestorm snapped. "Not even you could be that stupid," she muttered darkly under her breath. She sighed, and her exhale seemed to release a lot of the tension in her body. "You're not a warrior, Jayfrost, you're a medicine cat. Leave the fighting to others, otherwise you're just inconveniencing us all," she finished, her voice losing some of its previous edge.

Jasperpaw regained his balance and started to run after Silverpaw before an unfamiliar voice made him turn around. "We're not kits! I'm almost a w-" he began indignantly, thinking another warrior was teasing him, before he realized that the cat before him was a complete stranger. Heart racing, he instinctively flattened his ears and bared his teeth, fur bristling. "What are you doing on Oceanclan territory?" he growled, narrowing his eyes. He tried to look intimidating, but it didn't really have the effect he was going for, as he was completely soaked and slightly smaller than the loner in front of him.

They needed a safe place to stay so they took the second beach. She had hopped that Gray and her group wouldn't know where they've gone but with no such luck. That night they were ambushed by Gray and her group, Swift and her group put up a good fight but in the end only Swift survived. After sending her friends off, she tried to heal herself but there were too many wounds. She needed help, she needed the clan's help. She started to head off in the direction of the clan's camp.

In the roots of a tree slept two brothers, one was short with brown markings and fluffy fur. The other one was taller with flame colored markings and short fur. They've been living on their own for a moon now, it's been hard being kits and having to take care of themselves and each other with out the support of their father but they've managed to find shelter and Snow has been able to hunt mice for him and Flame and they were doing well for being so young. Snow was dreaming of the barn and fat mice, his father who was very smart and another cat who he knew had to be their mother but her image was faded for she had died after Flame was weaned. The dream suddenly took a dark turn, his mother bravely fighting for life from illness and sadly lost in the end. And his father who died in the fire, Snow had gone back after the fire stopped and was told by Shadow that there was nothing he could do for him. He was told to look after Flame and then Shadow died. He woke up panting and looked over to make he didn't disturb Flame sleeping beside him. He sighed and went out of their den to get some fresh air, the sun was just rising and the view was beautiful.
