callum was born into a wealthy, but predictable life. - aside
from a lifetime of intrusive thoughts & panic attacks. he bre
ezed through school, graduating a year early, but that doesn
't mean he got through his schooling without incident. school
was never challenging enough to hold his attention, & he qui
cky exhausted all legal ways of entertaining himself. the first
few rounds of transgressions, he got caught a number of time
s, but luckily his parents were always able to get any charges
dropped. he never got caught again, & if he did, he was able
to talk his way out of any situation. but one day he went too
far with a scheme, & he knew immediately that his parents w
ouldn't be able to get him out of trouble this time. he knew j
ust the group of miscreants to join, & he's been with them for
three years now, but no-one knows the true act he committe
d that sent him running so fast he just couldn't stop.

i. callum has a particular talent for getting himself into sticky
situations. no matter the occasion, too often he ends up in tr
ouble. but even he admits that it is no-one's fault but his own.
ii. cal has been bored his entire life. he'll be interested in som
ething for a while, but tire of it far too quickly. this is how he
got himself into this life really, he just got bored of his day to
day. iii. cal has never struggled to be the smartest person in a
room, & he likes it that way. iv. he’s used to getting what he
wants, & if someone won't give it to him, he'll find a way to g
et it. he’s never above using his puppy-dog eyes & tempting w
ords to get someone to do what he wants. going to whatever l
engths necessary to accomplish what he wants; he's got no real
limits & will push those of everyone around him. v. he's ruthle
ss in his determination & is not afraid to carve out a new path
if none already exists, violence always being an option. vi. he
loves getting a reaction out of people, to rile others up, & will
poke & prod until he does. vii. he's unequivocally himself & is
outspoken & unafraid to call out others actions. he'll be the fi
rst to call others on their bull & will easily admit to his own -
publicly known - flaws (but good luck getting him to admit he
quite regularly has panic attacks). viii. however, he understan
ds social graces extremely well, knows when to hold his tongue
& will adjust his behavior to the current situation. ix. cal is sel
f-aware; he knows his strengths & his weaknesses, & he'll use t
hose things to his advantage but is always looking to test their
limits. x. his sense of self-preservation out-weighs most situati
ons so one should never rely on him to be self-sacrificing unless
you want to be sorely disappointed. xi. that said, if you've earn
ed his loyalty, he's your man for everything & anything, he'll fi
nd a way to get you whatever you desire. xii. cal is very selecti
ve in how he expresses himself, and is incredibly good at hiding
traits he doesn't want to share with others, notably his anxieties.
xiii. he can seem far more detached than he actually is, especia
lly with people he actually does care about. he finds it hard to
express emotion and struggles a lot with emotional intimacy.

callum is about 5'10, he's broad-chested & strong,but carries
a youthful look of mischief. he has dark, puppy-dog, hazel ey
es that are hard to resist & dirty blonde hair which he likes to
keep fairly short & in place. he almost always keeps a layer o
f stubble, but rarely lets it grow out any further than that. c
al is magnetic, you're drawn to him, he walks with confidence
& swagger. he always either seems completely composed & in
control, or a total & utter mess who needs to be put in a corn
er - not to mention when he's completely overwhelmed by a p
anic attack & can be seen leaving the scene faster than a bat
out of hell. he definitely has a bad boy air around him, but m
ost don't realize just how bad the bad is. his smile is charming
& seductive, & it's not uncommon to find him licking his lips or
giving a wink to his latest interest. he has an incomplete tradi
tional half sleeve, & his tongue is pierced.

callum has always had a lot of difficulty making, but more importantly, keeping
friends. he's hard to handle, & few really see anything deeper within him than w
hat he puts out. it's hard to actually get through his outer walls he's been buildi
ng up his entire life, but if you do manage, you'll have one of the most loyal alli
es you could find. anyone else though? he could care less. even among their gro
up, he's almost always ready to betray anyone if it means his survival. but he's v
ery very good at making other people think he's invested in their lives. it's hard
for other people to see past his facade because he's been perfecting it for years
on end. very few people truly know his true, unfiltered self. his past has led him
to being very closed off; but as the saying goes: "you can't selectively numb emo
tion; if you numb vulnerability & pain, you lose joy, happiness, & connection jus
t as much." cal's romantic endeavors have always been ephemeral, but perhaps
he's starting to become ready for something a bit more substantial. if he can fig
ure out how to be more honest that is. callum's primary role within the group is
his resourcefulness, which manifests itself in his ability to get in or out of pretty
much anywhere. the trait is rooted in his ocd & anxiety. if you watch closely, yo
u'll see him doing his compulsive checks; where the closest exit is, where the clo
sest weapon is, what are his opponent's weak points, who is a potential opponen
t. continuously & compulsively his brain will run through each possibility wherev
er he is. even at his most relaxed, his mind is whirring with an escape plan. his c
ompulsions & intrusive thoughts were a curse his whole life, but now he's found a
way to use them to his advantage. if only he could figure out a way to do that for
his panic attacks.
