Kyo had seen enough. These people hadn't started trying to kill each other, so she decided it was safe to approach, entering the crater. She came close enough in time just to hear the first Hylian predict a change based on the star's arrival and the soothing effect it imparted.
"You are unusually perceptive for a Hylian. What is your name?" It was even more lovely up close. It seemed to resonate slowly, pulsing at regular intervals.
"Ah... If only I had the Sheikah Slate. Then I could immortalize this moment forever. Alas, it has been sealed away with the Hero of Hyrule." Kyo wondered aloud as she approached the star. Was this star an omen of his return, perhaps? She hoped so. It had been a century since the downfall of Hyrule. Now was as good a time as any to wake up and fix the mess the land was in. Perhaps more so, as she had seen the Calamity circle the castle more than once. It was becoming more active as of late.
She started think aloud again when her train of thought was interrupted when her ears detected soft footfalls not far off. Leaning back on her training, she deduced that there was one person with a light to medium build, and since she couldn't see them, they must have been crouching to avoid being seen. Confronting them wasn't a good idea in case they decided to attack. "I know you are hiding there. Unless you present yourself as a threat, I will not go out of my way to hurt you." Kyo had prepared herself for the worst in the case that the newcomer wasn't so friendly or even a Yiga member.

"Aren't you a beauty? Just look at you." Sayuri slowly held out her hand to the horse in order to avoid spooking it.
"Hold on one second, I should have a swift carrot somewhere... " She fished a swift carrot out of her bag.
"These are a specialty where I come from. There's also a pumpkin farm. The owners are always having a go at each other over which vegetable is better. Honestly ,we're all sick of it." After letting the horse take the carrot from her hand, she gently stroked the horse's face and scratched it behind the ears.
"Don't tell your owner about this, alright?" The horse's owner was probably asleep seeing as how no one had approached her about the horse yet. It was a fascinating specimen with an elegant build and an arched tail. None of the horses she had seen before were so elegant as this one.
"What species are you..? I haven't seen anything like you before, not in all the times I've been to the desert." Sayuri continued to study the horse while she listened in on a conversation between two stable hands. They were discussing a shooting star, one that was apparently larger than any other in existence, that had landed in Hyrule Field somewhere. If she could get her hands on it, she could use it as a priceless material for her clothes at the armour shop back in Kakariko. People would come from all over to see or buy them, and the business would do the whole village good.
"Did you hear that, sweetie? A massive shooting star... Even if it is just a rumour, I might find something interesting on the way there."
