Kayla grinned. "Don't worry I take mine out to the field once every month or so. Well, not this one in specifics I suppose. If worse comes to worse I can always help a friend out." Nolan and his trio of racehorses,pair of cats and there faithful Nanny goat had driven for days to get to there new home. Nolan pulled the monster trailer with the Smith Acre's logo on it into the parking lot. Nolan grabbed the cat carrier off the set and went to the barn labeled on his paperwork. He set the cats down next to Jester's stall. He would turn them loss after he set up there box in the corner of the huge stall. They had set up a similar thing at home for the trio. Nolan returned to his trailer. He caught tge white goat by the collar. He lead her over to a nearby pen and let her go. Next he went about unloading his racehorses. The pair of grays joined the goat in the pasture. The Filly went into her own pen. He then finished unpacking. By then he entered the Dinning hall. Hr foubd a place near the back and sat down

"Sounds good to me," Levi agreed. He glanced at his watch, noticing a little while had passed since he had first entered the hall. He made a mental note to check on his horses one last time before he went to his cabin after the dinner was over. He looked up and listened as Jacob spoke about his beginnings. He had finished his plate and was now leaning back in his chair, sipping on the glass of water he had gotten. The music was still playing in the background, some songs he knew, others he didn't. "Well, it was nice meeting you, Jacob," he said when he had finished talking. "I expect I'll see you around? Can't wait 'till we rope together," he said with a small smile.

Alwynn smiled softly, seeing that two girls had waved her over to their table. Thank goodness, there were two friendly people here, at least! She walked over hesitantly, with Link and Mandy at her heels. She sat down next to them somewhat nervously. Shyly, she spoke, “Heyyy... I’m Alwynn. It looks like I’m a little late to dinner..” She chuckled nervously, and looked down at Fiona’s dog. “Your dog’s so cute! What’s his or her name?” She smiled at the girl who waved her over, thanking her. She looked about the same age as her, but Ally couldn’t tell for sure. Fiona definitely seemed younger though. Alwynn took a bite of her mac and cheese. The food calmed her nerves a bit, as well as being near seemingly friendly people. She took a sip of water, and spoke, “So, do you guys have horses?” She thought fondly of her own Nic and Gwen, and chuckled. They’d probably be settled in by now.

Farah introduced herself to the polite young woman as she took her seat with them and began to chat Yeah I have two horses myself Ceres and Miles. Ceres is a bossy Oldenburg and Miles is an Akhal -Teke what about you what horses do you have? she asked with a smile curious to get to know the two people she was sitting with.

Well my jumper is a dutch warmblood. However, my Dressage mare Mori is a Friesian mix she is half Friesian and half Clydesdale though you don't really see the Clydesdale other than her height. She was a product of a breeding program in Germany an attempt to make a Friesian with stronger hindquarters. After all, years of pure breeding does tend to cause problems in the breed internally not that sound reasoning has stopped anyone from ever insisting a mix breed horse is useless. But that would be a personal rant for another day Mori is a great horse but can be temperamental on occasion. You mentioned breaking your colt have you broken many horses before?

Liam got up from his table walking towards the exit feeling decidedly in need of silence and Advil. He felt awful as he finally slipped out the door walking down the gravel path the now dark cool night helping his head. He listened to the sounds of the bugs and wind as he sat down next to the entrance to a barn. The barns weren't very far from the hall and where he was sitting was in plain sight to anyone walking out of the front entrance. However, the smell of the barn and summer air was comforting as he sat in the quiet dark only otherwise broken by a dim light that's glow attracted near translucent moths to its surface.

Paisley relaxed sipping her drink she wondered how her boys were settling in or more specifically Iri. The massive gelding had been a monster to get here and undoubtedly would have to be watched due to his less than friendly tendencies towards people. Perhaps she would buy a sign that read sociopathic horse beware she mused. Truthfully she loved him but he was awful with people. She wondered how many horses there were here exactly probably at least two per person which meant a lot. Even though she only had two years experience (a little more than she would have had on average due to having the credits to skip her first year at college). Paisley hoped her partner whom she had read a bit about wouldn't write her off as useless.

Logan listened, nodding occasionally, with genuine interest. "How did you get Mori, then? Was she unwanted, or...?" he asked. In his opinion, mix breed horses could be just as good as purebreds - his father had owned several, he was sure, and there were lots of people that had boarded their horses that were mixed, and they often came back from competitions adorned with rosettes.
Logan then shook his head slightly, to answer the question. "Well... Theron will be the first I've broken in on my own. I..." he hesitated, and glanced towards the table, "...I used to watch someone else do it, and they helped me break in Jetstar - my mare." That 'someone' being his father, of course, but Saoirse didn't need to know that or anything else about him.
