I'm really excited about these kitties!! I really hope that they come out as bright as they are in the newborn stage, I really love orange <333

I have a feeling these are going to be really cool, red and black is an awesome color combo imo!! Maybe gothic/spooky butterfly wolves?

!!! I really hope this litter is beach-themed!!!!

It works because this the fantasy land of Chicken Smoothie! There are also plenty of ways for human couples of the same sex and/or gender to have children, so why no these chickens? I definitely intended for them to be perceived as lesbians. (:
yes there is - and I am not saying anything against same gender marriage- but viable offsping MUST come from a male influence- and thus even as great as this pairing would be - there is no genetic way they could produce offspring with combined characteristics of two female hens. There would have to be a male in there some where- and the children would get the genetic coding from the male influence (so it would look like a combination of the male and female/ not the other female) , not from the chosen same gender pairing. so logistically there is no way this pairing would work to produce offspring containing the characteristics from two same gender beings- and that bugs me , having studied, and being very interested in inheritable genetics.
Mentally it just doesn't work for me.
This is a website though with pixels, and I know it can do what ever it pleases, I am glad to see so many happy people with the situation & I am excited to see the outcomes/ possible future pairings now.

Well in the future, it will be possible to combine any same sex genes without the need for the opposite sex. That is, once science can use technology to make paired couples genes compatible, you can have kids no matter what your partner is. And without labor involved if desired. Actually this may already be possible. But I have not been keeping up with biotechnology so I am unsure.

@Magnum Audibeliever
Under normal circumstances 2 females wouldn't be able to have offspring naturally, however there are ways.
One of them could be transgender, making them a fertile lesbian couple. Or with the use of science one of the female's gametes could be used fertilize the other female (like in vitro with extra steps)
So there are rational ways for these lovely hens to have babies of their own.
Love the lesbi-hens so much, such a pretty pair♡
