She added jokingly, pushing the kits closer to her belly before wrapping her tail around them lovingly. She nodded in understanding as Shatterpaw left her to got to Duskbracken. Staring at the herb in front of her she wondered what they were and what they did. She guessed that she had to eat them since Shatteredpaw hadn't really had the time to explain how it works or what it really does, but she trusts Shatterpaw and ended up eating the herb. The herb left a funny taste in her mouth and she screwed up her nose at the taste. However she noticed the effects almost immediately. Already she was becoming less worried and more calm with every heartbeat that passed. Grateful that the herb had worked she curled up once more and went to sleep again, ready for this day to end. Pudding felt a drop of worry in his stomach as his parents ran off into the forest. He really didn't like what was happening. He liked it earlier, when all of the love and attention was focused on him. But now, his parents were running off into the dangerous forest to find his annoying siblings. Considering they were already in the forest there was no reason to mention he saw Rosekit dive into the forest. Maybe he could rat her out later... "When will they be back?" he asked, shifting his attention back from his thoughts. Even though he didn't like talking, it was better than imagining what dangers his mother and father might be facing.

Muffin went silent for a moment as she contemplated Wingpaw's question. Despite the question being straightforward, she couldn't help but overthink it. "I want to learn how to hunt first." Muffin eventually answered. Hunting seemed easier and more useful than fighting in her mind. Plus, she might be able to get something to show off to her family at home! Granted, that wasn't a realistic outcome for the kit's first time hunting, but she couldn't help but imagine it a little.

Now that that thought had entered his mind, it wouldn't leave. As he followed Pepper back towards his two-leg nest he brooded about his bothersome and annoying siblings that might be putting his parents in danger. "Dumb Muffin. Dumb Sugar. Dumb Fuzz." he grumbled.

The small calico apprentice silently wandered around camp, bored out of her mind. She wasn't sure what to do with herself as she had no patrols or training going on. She thought about leaving for a hunt but didn't want to risk getting in trouble with her mentor. She lazily gazed up at the aspen trees, admiring their bark and leaves. She had always loved the trees. As she stared at the trees she grew sleepy and silently drifted off to sleep in a small sunny corner of the camp.
