all new characters have been accepted! welcome to the roleplay!
just a quick question, however: @Bruinette, what is arlo's mutation? if she doesn't have one, that's fine too.
i plan to have the roleplay up and running by wednesday (just because i want to give other users a chance to join before it has commenced), but if anyone has any objections, i'm happy to listen!
did you guys have any ideas in mind as for how you'd like the rp to begin?
@ᴊᴜxᴀᴛᴀ those are both brilliant ideas! i've gotta say, the first one really appeals to me. perhaps eli could be hunting, and then cal comes along and goes for the hunt, thus sparking a friendship between the two?
in addition to that, i will go ahead and include eli's breed. i'm so sorry about that! i completely forgot.

Woot, I can't wait to start!
Grumpy Whistle's gonna try and baby you all at some point at least once, beware <3
@awakening -
I think Wednesday or Tuesday would be good days to start. I might just be saying that cause I got medical appointments tomorrow oof (yay for having a bad gallbladder pfft)
@everyone -
So I'm building my relationship chart right now (I like what both you awakening & avicularia put for her btw!). Any other ideas or inserts anyone would like to suggest for Whistle before I go on auto-pilot with writing these? She can be grumpy and even dislike others, but just note that it's hard to become her enemy. You'd have to kill or seriously hurt someone/something she's protecting to make her see you as a villain. (I may foresee a lot of dislikes and neutrals in her future possibly pfft)
The only big thing I was thinking of was her possibly bonding with one dog (or at least enough to activate a strong case of guardian mode), so that would be a good push for her to join a group whether it was cause your character wanted that or because Whistle thought it'd be a good idea that might help give your character extra protection as well as the ability to make friends (cause Whistle knows she's not a very fun friend pfft).
Sorry for all the chatter, just making up for lost time >w<

-raises hand- Please, please, please. Clooney. If he doesn't end up bonding with someone, he's going to die off in the first few pages. He needs someone to show him that life isn't over. It'll take some work, if she's up for it. I don't know how great she'd be with him, but he's going to need someone to slap him back into reality.

@avicularia -
Ooooohhh actually I think Clooney would be a really good match! Yes he's a distant grump in ways like herself, but I think Whistle can see how the fight has left him, how broken he is. She'd probably be reminded of how she felt at first when the world became ruined. She had her mom at the start of this so she had support while she felt broken but she'll bet he hasn't. Whistle could come up with/believe the best solution for him would be to heal with many others, she wants to restore the fight in him. That dog's alone and no matter how iffy Whistle can be, she doesn't want others to suffer. Maybe she won't be the chattiest gal, but I can see her shadowing him at first and asking questions every occasion. Just keeping an eye until she ends up closer to him (I can see her sheltering him on rainy days cause of how big and fluffy she is pfft). And who knows? Maybe Whistle is a bit lonelier than she tends to disclaim. Might be somewhat babbling, but what do you think of this? :0

I absolutely love it. A friend for my sad boy! Just what he needs. He'll eventually warm up, too, once she really starts pushing. He'll be annoyed at first. 'leave me alone.' But some spark will light, and he'll catch on that, hey, there's some good left in this world after all. They make a neat pair for sure.
