spacfall twenty-eighteen, a twenty-something year old is taking a "b
spacreak" from college to head back to their hometown. long story s
spachort they're a college dropout that's dragging all of their friends
spac( and like one or two stangers ) across the american southwest's
spacdesert to look for cryptids following a really old and really trash
spacy book they found in a thrift store. it's called " haunted roadside
spacattractions . . . american southwest's desert edition " time to go!

spacso for reasons yet to explained "the heart&soul" has dropped out
spacof college. they have no meaning in life so they bought their aun
spact's old van and collected up all their friends to spend two weeks o
spacn the road searching for cryptids, because of course. they will be
spacusing the route provided by " haunted roadside attractions ( amer
spacican southwest's desert edition ) " but have also added some of th
spaceir grandfather's stories and also stuff they found on the internet.

- knows and is kinda friends ( ???? ) with everyone
- really childish, but really likable for that reason
- has loved spooky stuff since she was a kid and
genuinely believes all of these spooky things exist

- was really close with heart&soul as a kid, not so
much anymore. not really sure why they're going.
- kind of religious, kind of believes in ghosts, cou
ld pass as a witch, but no way believes in cryptids.
- sarcasm ™ - sorta bitter because she had to take
the over family business after her mother's death.

- a bit anxious and awkward - but in the sweet way

- nephew/niece of the heart&soul, they just hopped
into the back of the van out of last minute impulse.
- kinda needy but won't admit it - acts tough to cover
- doesn't know if any supernatural stuff exists but is

spacall of these youths are residents of santa clarita, otherwise know
spacn as the town not close enough to l.a to be cool but not far enou
spacgh into the desert to be weird. no odd shops and no real celebrit
spacies, just cookie cutter homes and stereotypical nuclear families.
spacit's in no way a bad place to be but not a place youths want to st
spacay in for long, it feels like if you're they're for over a year there's
spacjust no getting out. so, while they're not getting out forever, the
spacy are getting out, even just for a little bit can be a good thing . . .

spathe roleplay is open and accepting right now. also i should mention
spathat a lot of stuff in here will be inspired by those darn spooky audi
spaodramas. think, "alice isn't dead," "the last movie," "welcome to nigh
spatvale," "limetown," if you know the audiodrama basics you know wha
spat i'm going for. also if you've ever played the game "night in the woo
spads" the character basics may seem familiar(play the game, it's great).
