Wholepaw | Story 1

Wholepaw shrunk back by the she-cats words. He never meant for her to be kicked out of her clan. But then she mentioned his former clan. "Y-yes! Well, I was a Barrenclan cat. I ran away because i never liked that clan anyways. My mother was too protecting and never let me do anything, and i wanted to find my sibling." Wholepaw explained, looking down.

Brokenpaw felt even more rage build up inside of her. Her home clan; she remembered her mother vaguely, but it was enough. "I don't need your help. You stupid clan cats... you're useless. Go survive on your own." Brokenpaw hissed, her voice shaking slightly as she spoke. "Whether you like them or not you are one of them, go back clan cat. Get lost." she added, trotting away from him. Her tail slashed through the air, back and forth and back and forth. Her ears were pinned flat against her head and she dared not look back.

The words hit Wholepaw like a rock to the side. He looked down, almost in tears. But, he shook them off, looking up at the she-cat walking away, "No." He started, "I won't return to my clan. That clan." He hissed. "You were once a clan cat. You came from Barrenclan. Just like me. You look exactly like my mother. Silverflight." He almost whispered the last part. His ears were flat with rage. If this was truly his sister, he wouldn't believe it.

"I was NOT a Barrenclan cat. My mother may have come from there but she gave me up. She didn't even care that I was gone. I was a blood rogue. They you had to come along and ruin it." She hissed. A few moments went by before the name he had spoken had finally set in. 'This cat is Silverflights son? "I know that name..." she muttered underneath her breath, stopping in her tracks. "Say that name one more time and you won't have a voice box." She threatened, her voice trailing off at the end, more sadness and resentment edging her voice than anything. She felt an empty hole in her stomach; Silverflight.

Her father would tell her about how they met. He was a rogue, he couldn't truly fall in love with her, and yet he did. She didn't want to join their clan, though, and in the end her father had to confront Silverflight about it. From what she was told and from what she (vaguely) remembered, Silverflight didn't bat an eye as Brokenpaw was taken to the clan. She didn't care.

Wholepaw sighed, "Look, Im sorry about-well, mom not caring about you. It seemed like she did a ton when she spoke to me about you. Apparently i was the cat who was supposed to replace you or something." He made a slight paw gesture. "If you don't want me here, I'll leave." He said turning away.

Brokenpaw felt a bit of anger rising up in her. His wording wasn't the best; not even slightly. Or she was just emotional. "She had another kit to 'replace' me." she mumbled bitterly. She clenched her teeth, shaking her head and digging her claws into the ground. "I don't want you here. Get lost, kit." she spat, walking into the woods alone. She didn't need him; she didn't WANT him. Who did that cat think he is? "He's no brother of mine." she growled to herself as she progressed deeper and deeper into the woods, unsure of where she was actually going.

The tom growled and turned around, walking away. The last thing he wanted to do was go back to Barrenclan. The place he even wondered why he called home. He stomach rumbled and he sighed. He needed something to eat. Picking of a scent, he took off, following it. It led him to a small vole eating some seeds. With a quick pounce and nip, he killed the vole in a swift manner. He took it to a nearby tree and started to eat, caring less about anything but his meal.
