Catastrophe struck the small town of Haggert, Oklahoma. Wind, drought,
and heat created the perfect environment for the flames, pushing them
through dry grass at speeds that couldn't be controlled. Whole cities were
evacuated, and Haggert was no different. Dogs were left behind in the
wake of the disaster, strays and pets alike, forced to combat the flames
on their own. Without the companionship that they've always known,
survival seems impossible, especially with the resources stolen by the fires.
But maybe leaning on each other could bring them some success, at least
until their families come back. If they come back...
