"Ignore him, he's just being grumpy." Morningmist said to Batpaw as he came back in, getting a soft snort out of Pricklepelt. "Thank you for the fresh-kill." She purred, then looked over at Pricklepelt expectantly. Pricklepelt looked over the prey carefully, then mumbled his response. "Could be worse I suppose..."

Batpaw glared at pricklepelt. "Your welcome." he quietly meowed through his teeth.

[dino egg]

Pricklepelt ignored the apprentice and started eating his food.
"Thank you, Batpaw..." Spiderfoot meowed quietly from the back of the den before she started eating her own.

Batpaw nodded and walked out of the den.

Nightwatcher watched the kits playing near the nursery with some amusement. Nearly apprentices... They must be so excited. She thought, getting lost in her thoughts.

"Cute aren't they...?" Briardawn asked Featherheart as he noticed them.

Featherheart nodded. "I should say hi to the rest of the clanmates." Featherheart mewed as she stood up and walked to the nearest cat which happens to be Nightwatcher.

Nightwatcher jumped slightly when she heard Featherheart come up beside her. "oh, hello..." She meowed softly, offering a small smile. "How did training go...?"

"Great! Batpaw learned a lot." Featherheart mewed with a blink

"That's good... What did you do today...?" Nightwatcher asked, eyes occasionally darting away when something caught her attention.

"We battle trained, he's getting good." Featherheart lifted up her front left paw and on her wrist whatever it's called for cats was a scratch.
