A deep purr rumbling in his chest, Nightstorm reveled in the peaceful aura that had surrounded him and Sorrelwing as they made the journey back to camp, his paws moving automatically along the well-trodden path, though inwardly the dark pelted tom had no wish to end the moment - her scent gently tickling his nose, making him long to bury his face in the tortoiseshell's ever so soft fur to inhale it - and so on. As their surroundings grew more and more familiar, his paw steps dramatically slowed down as they neared camp. Exhaling slowly, he shifted his gaze to look at Sorrelwing. "Are.. are we going to - should we keep this - us - a secret for now?" He asked quietly, doing his best to keep his tone calm, although his inner voice was practically screeching at him. The last thing he wanted was to have to hide the fact that they were mates, but he also knew that she might wish to keep it on the down low for a while.

Dawnfeather called after Ashpaw as he exited the nursery, before turning her attention back to her mate and kits. With a small roll of her eyes, she gave Lionsplash a dramatic nudge in the shoulder with her own, before giving him a comforting lick on the ear. "You can go see Wildfire, we'll all be fine." She murmured, not wanting him to worry, but she knew that he wanted to see his former apprentice, and besides it wasn't like her mate could constantly be in the nursery by their side.

Glancing up at the sky, he noted briefly the swirling colors of the sky, as a light breeze swept over the grass, and ruffled his fur.
