Mary looked to the monitor, then nodded. "She's a little shaken up." she replied, "As so long her stats stay normal, she'll be fine." Alessa finally sighed as she looked to Gabe and Mary. "I-it really hurts..." she winced.

Gabe was curious as to why the shots hurt so much. Maybe alessa was just sensitive to shots. Was it something in them? Gabe was furious at his lack of knowledge. This was going to take a while to get used to. "Do you know what's, in those shots," he asked.

[Boomer]

Mary looked over to Gabe and nodded. "Yes, iron." she answered, "We have to give it IM, meaning intramuscular. It's a bit more painful than an IV. Alessa also has a layer of scar tissue, so we really have to push the needle through her skin." Alessa slightly gagged as she talked about the injection. "I'm sorry..." said Mary gently.

"I've only seen iron as blocks of metal. I know there is iron in blood, but it's kind of hard to imagine, well, for me anyway," Gabe said. "Well it's not my fault!" someone said from the halway. Gabe looked over and saw the group of 'doctors' if he could even call them that, that came to his house standing in front of an old looking doctor. "I hope they get fired," he thought.

Mary slightly narrowed her eyes as she placed her paw on Alessa's shoulder."This isn't a teaching case." she said lowly, flicking her tail. Alessa felt herself holding her breath, which was clearly shown on the monitor. Mary turned as she heard the beeping pattern change. "You've got to breathe..." she said quietly, looking to Alessa. Alessa exhaled, then laid down a bit more.
